Umm.. I have been searching for Ralts on route 102 for like an hour now and still no Ralts. It does appear on route 102 right? And does it have a set gender like some pokemon where it will always be a female because I need a female one for later when I breed for IVs

As long as you're searching in the right place, then you'll eventually find it. It shouldn't take longer than (max) 20 minutes... good luck! And you can always find a female later in the game if you want to hurry and advance.

It usually takes me a half an hour to 45 minutes to find a Ralts. And I shark, but the codes I use make it just as rare as it is legally. But the code puts her on Route 101 as well.

You just need to keep looking and eventually you will find it. There are a lot of theories that the pokemon at the lead of the party has to like you and have a positive disposition, but I don't know if this is true.

Yep, me too. It's normally about 5 or 10 minutes. I have only seen one surskit in all four games I restarted and caught Raltz.

I found a Ralts the first time I went and looked for one, the very second I stepped into the grass...I found Surskit only because it was on TV.

The three other people I play with found a Ralts when they started their game. I've never even seen a wild one and I have 190 hours logged. I searched for like an hour in that area and never found one. I don't want one for my team I just want one.

Whether you find one seems to depend on the cart. It is like finding shineies (although less rare) Some get a lot some get few or none.

I for example, despite hundreds and hundreds of logged hours on G/S/C and Ru/Sa, have never, ever encountered a shiny Pokémon aside from the Gyrados in G/S/C, of course.

But I doubt that some carts are actually luckier than others...just chance, I think.

I have cloked over 200 hours and have yet to see a shiny except shiny gyrados.

i think that the more the lead pokemon in your party likes you, the more often you see it. i read that off some site, and don't know if it's true. it's probably treu 'cos in the pokedex it says that ralts reads peoples emotions.
