White-Horned Dragon, worth the hype?
Post your experiences here if you have had a chance to test out WHD. I myself have not had a chance yet.
Was this card worth the hype?
Is it worth $10+?

It's probably worth that, but not much more, seeing as it's not overly easy to pull from the MDP2-EN set.
As for its hype, well...I haven't tried it out yet, but I can tell you that it won't have a huge impact on the metagame. After all, it's really only a beatstick when you get right down to it (albeit a potentially huge one, at 3700 ATK for one Tribute); the fact that you get to remove Spell Cards from your opponent's Graveyard is just icing on the cake, since the only Spell retrieval you'll see these days is 1x "Magician of Faith" and 1x "Dark Magician of Chaos).
So, while I personally think it's a cool card, it's not anything too revolutionary; it's definitely at least "good", though.

Cool a mod posted.
I pulled about 9 from the packs, kept 3 as I always do, and sold the rest for $15 each. I was wondering if I should buy more toys to try and get more WHD. The price right now should stay at about $15 for right now until the verdict is is in for this card. Your points about the card are all true Kenji, that is why I want to know if people are really going to be using this card.

I think it looks pretty good. Living in the UK eBay or trading are my only hopes of getting one. It CAN become a behemoth depending on which phase of the game its summoned in, early, mid, late. It's a once off effect though so that damages it a little, unlike Bazoo that can go as long as you have monsters in the grave.

It definately has some potential. It's certainly not Meta changing like a lot of people believe it to be but it should make a decent enough impact IMO.

Use it if your opponent loves using a Removal Deck like Lighting Vortex + Any card that returns a card from your grave to your hand/deck so you get a probple 3700 with ease though their are always the trap cards for getting it when first summoned like Bottomless Trap Hole or Trap Hole (It stinks when having all your good cards elminated by removal cards when their namely spell cards)

It's not horrbile, but it will have almost no impact on the meta. Still, it's another target for DDV.

I like this card very much, and I'd like to try it out once I pull one but no, it will not be a revolutionary card nor a metagame-changer. It is certainly playable, making for a nice Monarch killer however. Moreover, this card will be deadly, when played late game. Cool design, great stats, good attribute & type, and cool effect.

I like this card as well, thanks to V-Jump created this card. I wanted to tell this card so much and have to wait till hits to australia next year.
But, seriously, this card wasn't worth as much, it only worth like $5 or tops.

This card is okay if it was against a Magical Explosion deck. LOL. Its okay now since a player can use the V-Lord and Don to dump the opp.'s spell into the Gy.

White Horn Dragon worth the hype? Fun card and looks nice but it's not amazingly godly.
It's really just a big beatstick that screws up your graveyard alittle bit, just alittle. At least it's fun for dragons.
Edit: My bad, I forgot to type 'opponent' between 'your' and 'graveyard'.

Yeah its a POTENTIALLY bigstick depending on the phase of gameplay as Kaede said. But its not going to break the meta in any real way.

it may not break meta but I have lost to this card against my brother. It's a decent card, and watching all your spells get removed is a wicked new aspect to the card. Also that 3700ATK is almost game when running Giant Trunade/Mausoleum/ WHITE HORN DRAGON / Megamorph.
4 card combos is nifty though

I have tried it in my White Horned deck drain deck. It uses V-Lord and don to thin the deck for spells and by then, WHD will end the game. I would like to add, McDonald's should keep those cards in the pack in mint condition. The toys put dents into the cards themselves.

My friend was running two in a dragon deck today at a regionals. He was just having fun, but the deck was really nasty at times with the WHDs. His FHDs and WHDs were getting removed from play by Banisher and he used Dimension Fusion for tons of damage. Very fun and his deck didn't do badly.

I keep forgetting WHD is a Dark monster lol. thanks for reminding me of that. I like the card. I tried it today in a tourny and in some practice games...and it often turned the game in my favor. It destroyed those annoying 2400 Beatsticks by it's effect. Trust me, play it right...and you're guaranteed to get it to 2500+, that's actually all you need lol. It's Spell removal pwns...cuz one game I summoned him and removed all the cards my Opp was most likely going to bring back via Magician of Faith.
It's at least great tech. Give it that much. I wish I could use it in a SJC.
