HELP i need deck theme!!!
Well sorry for bothering you about this but I need help on building a deck that is close to torny material. Here are some of the deck themes that I have considered running:
Mystic Swordsman
Elemental Hero
Armed Dragon
Hours The Black Flame Dragon
Clown Control
Magician
I am also open to any other deck themes. But when you choose a deck theme for me could you please also give a few staples that I should consider running? Thanks guys

This is about the hardest question anyone ever asks. Deck choices are really personal and are often to do with your playstyle, personality, preferences, and budget.
Really, any of those decks (possibly even E-Heroes) can be made to a standard where they will be very competitive at a local tournament. If you would like to pick one, and would like me to, I don't mind trying to come up with a deck.

Out of those themes, I'd choose Horus, which seems to be the best, of maybe Clown Control.

I've tried, not Clown Control per say, but an actual Clown deck. Trust me, it's fun to kill people with Bickuribox.
It actually worked pretty well, but it was a budget deck and I ended up taking it apart for Premature Burial, Mystical Space Typhoon, etc.
I've also used decks with Mystic Swordsman, Armed Dragon and Horus. In fact, I used one deck with them all, and it worked surprisingly well. In my experience, Mystic Swordsman was hard to level up, due to LV2 having to destroy something in battle. So if you pick that, max your Level Ups.

I would recommend Horus or Armed Dragon of those themes. But it is all down to your preferences. Try one of them out, if you don't like it then switch to something else.

I think that Clown Control is the strongest of those decks mentioned, actually.
I just love the combo of Stumbling + Dream Clown & Peten's great effect..
I sometimes run Final Countdown with Clowns...
They are fun and slightly competitive too.
What deck you run all depends on HOW you want your opponent to die.
(eg playstyle) lol

Horus the Black Flame Dragon deck will have the highest chances of succeeding in tournaments, but Armed Dragon is really up there too, since almost all decks are majority of spells, Horus kills them off if you know how to build it right, but Armed Dragon is a field destroyer since it's the monsters most worried about.
So one of the two, your choice depending on which you think is better

Personally id recommend choosing your favourite card and trying to base a deck around that. But id pick a deck that I like and enjoy playing with over a deck I dont really like too much but can win more often. But thats just me. Even in a tournament I play for fun. Winning is secondary.
As for the choices Id say the clowns. That sound like an interesting deck. Being known as a "clown duelist" has a nice ring to it lol.

I would go with a Horus/fire deck or something like that. Horus decks are pretty fun to use.

i would definatly go with the clown control deck only problem is that now they limited g-bind to one and level limit area b ur kinda reliant on the stumbling combo but it works like a charm and can take down almost any monster at a tournament.... and if u want u can throw a few horus's into that deck cause they dont get affected by stumbling so u get horus lv 6 in face up attack not sure about lv8 though hmmm

Trust No matter how many people diss E-Hero's the can be good. Think of Shining-Flare wingman all the awsome fusions^^*Note not all are awsome* trust me E-hero is awsome^^. Yet i still do recomend Horus since i used to run a horus, armed dragon deck. Its all up to your playstyle.
