Thats not true....

A normal Ranged Attack is just a regular attack, both take damage.

A hero who has the ability of Long-Range, which is they keyword here, gotten from something like Ancient Bone Bow can deal their attacks without taking damage from their target.

They are no "spells", only abilities.

For an ability such as Fireblast in the Tazo demodeck, it does exactly what it says. It inflicts 2 damage to the target, no battle is ever done.

Thanks but what I meant by spells was an ally spell damage, such as fire damage or frost.

Thats not spell damage at all.

Its still just a reuglar attack with combat. The type of attack an ally does (ranged, melee, shadow, etc.) makes no difference.

It deals its damage to its target (Hero, Ally), and takes damage back as per usual.
