Quick question re Chakra zone
When it comes to playing a jutsu card that has a cost of, say 2 water, and you have those in the chakra zone, do you send them to your discard area, or do you "tap" them (like MTG)?
Another question I have is, if you send a card to the chakra zone, are you still able to use it the next turn? If so, I assume it stays in the chakra zone, or does it?
Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Any Chakra used to pay for a Jutsu goes directly to the discard pile.
Sending to the Chakra zone (be it charging or discards for Ninja/Missions) is a one way trip.

Ahh, so once it goes into the chakra zone, then that's it. It can't be used other than for paying for another cards cost, correct? If so, then that means you really have to use them strategically.

Yes, the system is complex in that you must figure out what is where in your game area. Be it hand advantage, Chakra advantage, field advantage, etc.
