002 Broww, Huntsman of Dark World
002 Brron, Mad King of Dark World

001 United We Stand

- 1 Giant Trunade
I understand that tis card allows for a clear attack and safety for Skill Drain and whatnot, but it doesn't give you any real advantage after you play it.
+ 1 Mystic Tomato
keeps field presence, gets out n00bdoria j/k , and it'll flow the deck better

I think you are right on trunade.
But should I add:
+1 Tomato?
Or,
+1 Treeborn Frog?

I have a skill drain deck but it does not revolve around DW. I like it alot. I would add in 1 more Tomato or Exiled Force. 41 cards will not hurt in this format w/Graceful and as fast as your deck will be...
9.5/10
I dont have a link for my deck yet.

First off, I love this deck. Mind if I netdeck and tweak it on my own time? There's nothing more fun than improving an already great deck.
Add in the Tomato for Trunade. Treeborn Frog will be moderately useless with Skill Drain/LoI chillin' out on the field.
That's the only immediate suggestion I can give, but I'm thinking there's real potential for a couple of Fusiliers. Maybe drop the Trunade and an Orc for them?
10/10!

Light of Intervention -- wow I could say a lot but it's longevity will depend on how cutter format plays out.
LoI basically slows the speed of cutter -- no flip, no face down threats etc..
with Skill Drain active, it lays reapers and flips and thinner for serious damage.
As a tech card, it worked great for me in the last format. But we'll see how things play out tomorrow.
If flips ago away, FAO and LoI will be dropped for 3x Sak and 1 TT.
As for Brron, I wish skilled drain were out often enough to cause a probelm with it, however, SD lasts a few turns at most, with the biggest value of breaking down a major play by my opponent.

Deck looks pretty kick ass. 9.7/10. Try adding a Dark Necrofear, even with SD it is a 2200/2800 special summon.

morphing jar helps when you aren't running skill drain: )
And, Dark World Lightning takes care of the face down just fine.

wow..i am really impressed...there are combos there that i haven't thought about at all...very well thought out...i wouldn't play the united we stand or mage power cuz i think equip cards are a waste of cards... i agree that if you are going to play 3 skill drains that you really shouldn't play 3 bronns, since their effect is probably gonna be negated anyway..i would go with some fusilier dragons..cuz they are a 2800 beatstick with skill drain and they offer more food for DDV. i am impressed with this deck though. 8.5/10

With 2x mobius, Breaker, HS, MST and MoF recyling in every deck on the street, unfortunately SD doesn't last long on the field. At best, it negates a big play when chained and lasts a turn or two after that.
the equip cards are essential. UWS is broken when you swarm and it fuels an OTK -- or gives you the ability to take out something over 2300.
Bronn... yeah. it's 50/50 on the SD, but often it is the only discard option. I've swapped it for beiige.. that was a waste. draw is fine with brrow but, if you don't have the discard, you don't get the draw...
If there is a perfect balance on DW monsters, I haven't found it yet..:)

I suggest you only play 1 Scarr and 3 Zure for all your DW needs.
They cover it well enough right?
Rofl.
Still no fixes yet. Even after lots of netdecked playtesting.
The only difficulties I've had so far are getting punished by stupid plays on my part and by my usual disgustingly bad draws.

d4r4ki4n,
I've been testing Appropriate in another deck -- wow. I'm impressed with how it works in the new format.
When you are net decking -- swap 1 sak for 1 appropriate and let me know how it works.

Nice deck. Would be better with more monster but it looks like it will work very well. Also where is sangan and breaker. these are useful cards that would realy help this deck.

Xancalidon -- goblin elite doesn't work with deck devesation virus -- hence the gaint orcs. orcs have to stay.
As for breaker... yes, a staple, but not so good in skill drain.

hmmmi would still play abreaker if you say skill drains dont last on the field that long...and as for the UWS being broken forget that...i dont think you should worry about swarming or OTK....just play smart and keep card advantage...and u said they take care of 2300's and up...well that why u would have 2-3 smashings, a mirror force, BTH, 2-3 sakus, and fusilier (potential 2800).

hiroshi,
I've learned playing skill drain, that the last thing you want is a dead draw -- as in a monster that doesn't work while it's out.
I used to run as many as 3x staple monsters, then learned my lesson -- when SD is out -- i'd draw all three, and my advantge would be lost before i drew the right cards.
go big or don't go with skill drain.
as for the swarm... wow... dw just kind of do that on their own. if you try to slow it, then you dead draw into dark worlds etc...
GC pops up... you have to go with it. And if ther eis a face down, you have to DWL it... suddenly, you have three monsters on the field.
UWS... also pumps newdoria to get DDV to go if... which is sweet, every time it happens.
