Default Put your Forbidden List Feedback HERE

For all of you looking at the new list and have something to say about. This is your thread.

Because Yu-Gi-Oh! is a global game, Konami insisted on a global list this time. If you have complaints, or don't like this approach in general, let us know and we'll be happy to pass that along.

This list is awful.
It effects the metagame, little or none, FFC is still top Tier.
Way to go Konami.
I quit.

Would there be a chance of change? Konami did not need a global list. Correct me if I'm wrong, but UDE runs worlds, so they could just use their ban list. Not to mention that if they insisted on a global list, they should make a good one of their own.

"insisted"
Well there u go then. Suppose there wasn't alot that UDE could do then. Reaper probably could have done to go to 2 if not 1 and MoF stay at 1. Apart from that I have no complaints... as of yet :p

This banned list is HORRIBLE.

Our meta is this:
MPT
FFC
toolbox to a lesser degree
Frog-Monarch
Soul Control

All this did was kill OTKs. It hindered MPT but it's unstable anyways

My other thoughts are in my threads

Damnit, now I need a Mirror Force! ;)

Glad to see Graceful Charity back though. Also, very glad Level Limit Area B is restricted. I hate the thing. XD

But er, TWO Magician Of Faiths and TWO Nobs? I'd best be out to buy a Spellcaster structure then!

My deck is gonna be getting a total overhaul plan tonight!

I just wonder what will become mass removal now with Dark Hole rebanned.

Dan, will graceful be errated in any way to slow down dark world?

I see graceful and dark world being an issue.

Be specific guys. The more exact and well-written you are, the better feedback I can take to Konami.

First off, I don't mind this list too much. I enjoy my deck and I have done well with it and this doesn't really change too much of what I can do. What does seem troublesome is that more of the non-CC decks take a hit. Still, I'll play it for 6 months and I'll love it because I love this game. peace.

this list is the WORST EVER! I had faith that this would be a change for north america always taking a back seat from Japan, but I was proven wrong again. THE US AND JAPAN DO NOT HAVE THE SAME META! WE SHOULD NOT APPLY THE SAME THINGS AS WE DO FOR EACH AREA! We have different decks and different ways of dueling so I was for a new list that was different.

There was little reason to ban time seal and also to limit other cards as they are not a big threat in our region.

I am seriously thinking of boycotting this game now because of this list and the fact that the US did not get restrictions that were for them but were from Japan.

I think that having a global list for Nationals/Worlds is a good thing.......but I also do not believe that creating a world list using Japan's metagame was a cool thing either. This list really will not change the metagame at all. People will take out a lost DDA and replace it with a Magician of Faith, replace Dark Hole with Mirror Force, and work in Graceful Charity somehow. The basic point is that I don't feel like my thoughts, or anybody else's, were heard.

I don't like this list I wanted a real change and all it did was hurt most of my decks since I was actually teching things like last will, time seal, and mask of darkness more importantly it does not bring skill and control back into the format there is almost no change compared to our current meta.

I have mixed feelings for this list.

Some obvious problems with the game right now have been left untouched(Spirit Reaper x3 in every deck = ridiculous) but some changes are quite nice.

I like how they finally decided to take action against OTKs.

Well i dont mind it that much. Its not horrible, but it's not as good as it could have been. I think everyone that is whining about how bad it is and saying they quite should either give their suggestions or leave.
This should be a fun St. Patty's Day for UDE ~sarcasm~

I would love to answer that, but I'm not going to because its not constructive.

"Graceful Charity" and "Dark World" work exactly the way you think they do. We'll see if "Dark World" wins every tournament or not - but I wouldn't bet money on it.

NO! The list sucks! It doesn't affect our meta, and cards have been banned that were not needed. I guess that Mirror and Graceful to the luck down a bit, but still...

Yes it is. We can then give our feedback on that, so there could be a medium UDE/Konami list.

Dan and Kevin,

It is unfortunate that Konami insisted on an inferior and rather hastily designed list based off of genocidal bannings. The power of Mask of Darkness, Level Limit Area B, and Time Seal were rarely seen in the US during this previous format. All it does it kill potentially DIFFERENT archetpyes that actually add a sense of uniqueness to this game.

While Dark World has improved in power (and I still don't understand how Morphing Jar is not banned), that is only one increased archetype compared to two (Turbo Pot and and Treeborn Monarchs). Konami's insistent massacring of control and combo is disgusting, and I hope that some day, they will actually listen to the public. It's not like North Americans and Europeans are the only ones complaining. Some from Asia disagree with the list, as well as Konami's approach to utilizing the ban list.

I would prefer you and Kevin would be the ones in control of the entire Tournament program, including list and format construction. You guys are definitely more competent than Konami, to be blunt. Hopefully this game will improve at some point in the next six months.

(note: if you are submitting exact quotes to konami, feel free to cut out paragraph 3. It's more or less built up frustration)

I have no major issues with this list, but for the fact that I just expected more, I mean after the unprecedented success of the last list I would have hope for further reaching changes. Then again the state of the game hasnt become quite so stale and repetitive as it was last format, we will probably see some more drastic changes come october but I suppose this list will work for a while.
