Animatrix was actually on TNT
Well when you change the channel then see something that looks like the Matrix cept in 3d appear you notice something. Damn it since I only got to see the last 2 minutes! I watched the credits and there it was at the end it said Animatrix. What in the hell TNT showed the Animatrix?!?! This really is unusual.

No, they only showed Final Flight of the Osiris. Adult Swim gets to show the full Animatrix.

Last Flight of the Osiris is mainly about another ship shortly before Reloaded begins. A Kid's Story explains about one of the main characters in the movie(if you've seen the second and third and watch this, you should figure it out quite easily) The Renaissance P1 and P2 explains about how the whole human-robot war started. The others mainly just have some other stuff about random people and how they related to the matrix.

It's only nine short episodes. They're going to repeat it so many times.

The DVD is selling pretty cheap right now, so get it if you can. The best ones are Kid's Story and the Second Renaissance pts. 1 and 2.

Animatrix re-airs tonight
Just a reminder, The Animatrix airs tonight on Adult Swim at Midnight EST. It's a fine feature, so those of you who haven't seen it or missed it the first time should tune in.
Next week, FMA and GitS.

Well, Bebop better be back, or someone at AS is going to be mutilated.
Now I regret ever buying the GitS: SAC DVD. Super Milk Chan seems promising, but I've already seen Full Metal Alchemist.
Oh, and the Animatrix is ... bleh.

Your confused Inuyasha will still be on weekdays mon-wed at 12:30 pm and on saturdays at 1:am but, they are reruns they would never take Inuyasha completely off AS learned their lesson last year. New eps of Inuyasha start on Jan 5th, 2005. So their will no new Inuyasha episodes until 2005.

Personally, I love the Animatrix.
Espcially "World Record" and the haunted house...
Too bad I have to rent it to see it... And if I'm renting movies, I'm going to be renting Bebop anyways...

I loved The Last Flight of the Osiris for how good it looked and kind of showed us another view of the events between the first and second Matrix.
The Second Rennaisances were also cool as they showed backstory.
Kid's Story was definitely one of my favorites as well. World Record was cool. The only ones I didn't like were the haunted house one and the last one.

Final Flight of the Osiris:
That first simulation sequence is stupid. The rest of the short is pretty good, though, and it does help tie the movies and the games. Rating: B+
The Second Rennaisance Parts 1+2
Simply, if they took off all of the other shorts, leaving these two, the DVD would still be worth it at MSRP. Easily the best out of the shorts. Rating: A
Kid's Story
Entertaining short for the most part. Animation takes a while to get used too, but works well. It's well animated at any rate. Rating: B+
World Record
An interesting short and an odd way of getting into the Matrix. Delves into some of the bugs with the Matrix and alternate methods of "waking". Animation is good, but character designs aren't. Rating: B
Detective Story
Lots of action, but rather boring. The detective is an interesting character and he could have been interesting in the movie. Good animation, and well-written. Rating: B-
Program
Action packed, but doesn't do much for the Matrix story except provide some nifty fight scenes. Worth a once-over. Rating: C+
Missed the other three, haven't seen them in a while.
The Animatrix Overral Rating: B+

I really enjoyed World Record, though it confused me a slight bit and I hated the character designs for the agents. I didn't even realize that they were agents until the other runners transformed into them. What was that black stuff flying out of his knee during the race? Also, what happened when he stood back up at the end? Did he make it out that time? That's what it seemed like to me. It seemed that he managed to push himself so hard to stand up after the Matrix made him catatonic that he managed to force his brain out for good. I had a theory that the runner is actually Morpheus, but if that's true then I don't know who the 5th One could be, and Morpheus talked like the 5th One saved him from the Matrix.
