Ban list question
U think if upperdeck was to ever ban a ritual monster that hey would ban the ritual spell card as well?

Interesting Question.
But an equally interesting answer. Rituals simply arn't worth banning. For the most part, barring Shinato or Relinquished, they suck.

Yes if they made this card:
The Ritual king Lv.12 Type:wind
Fiend/ritual/effect: this card can only be ritual summoned by the effect of "The best ritual ever". For every bit of card advantage you lose when summoning this card draw that many cards from your deck times 3. For each card you draw with this effect your opponent loses 2000 lp. Atk Infinite Def Infinite

Are you kidding that would be awful, you wouldn't draw any cards what with card advantage not existing.
On topic,
no they wouldn't just think about the fact that Raigeki is banned but anti-raigeki isn't.

I might even tech those in my deck. Those two and Relinquished are the only Rituals at least list worthy. And the probably won't ban the Spells, as they would have to ban the alternates (For Darks, Earths).

I think if they did that they would go way too far as they have now with the banlist. And I'm highly doubtful about their reasoning for it, it would be completely pointless. |
