Come back Mirror Force !_!
Why Did Mirror Force's banning bring about the plague of Smashing/Sakuretsu/Widespread Ruin?... before we dealt with Mirror Force/BTH... honestly, we were better off with Mirror Force. These cards are just menaces.

No ****.
Mirror Force being banned meant that players who wanted to swarm could safely do so, which in turn means that we needed more 1-1 mon destruction to halt the flow of smackiness.

Umm, how would Mirror Force coming back make swarm cry?... a possible 9 cards removal currently (possibly more), and you think 1 Mirror Force would change that? and if Mobius stays popular, that means even a less effective Mirror Force. They needed to ban Ring of D. , but Mirror Force has proven to be less effective, in turn they should bring it back.

I second your motion for bringing back the Force!
It's not a broken card by any means, and probably works less than half the time anyway - just like most any non-chainable trap.
What it can do is help bring balance back to the game
May the Force be with us next ban list,
DJ

I'd love to see Mirror Force back...
Mostly cuz I spent a long time getting my hands on just 2 of them. =/
There's a lot of s/t removal in the game.. and Mirror Force goes on the same pile as Sak Armor, easily removed.
I think it will definitely come off the banlist as the meta needs a new way to slow down the rush of aggro decks.
Plus it's one of those rotating cards that come on/off so signs show that it'll come off the bans.

The main reason MF needs to come back is SWARM. A lot of people are saying that "yeah...now we can swarm without having to worry about all of our monsters being destroyed in one fell swoop!"
Where's the fun and strategy in that? Decks that don't swarm need to be able to defend themselves at least once in a duel from a deck that does...
Dark Hole doesn't count here, because a lot of times, a swarm is set up on the swarm initiaters turn. By the time your turn rolls around, the damage is done.
Bring Force back. It's expulsion is no longer necessary...and I play two decks that swarm...

I also want Force its only the opponents problem ( idiots ) if Force becomes more then a 1 for 1. Playing a good match Force becomes no more then a holo fourth Sak. Armor

woot people who agree... does anyone recall when the banlist first came out, prior to removal abuse... most people claimed that MF deserved to be banned. Now it's worse than before
If Mirror Force does come back, i doubt people will run 3 Smashings + Widespread.

Bah, I'd rather be hit 8 times in one game with Dark Hole than a single Mirror Force any day. At least you know what's going to happen when that hits.

Yeah, you are right ... you know what is expected, that's why MF doesn't deserve banning. If Mirror Force comes back people will Just run Jinzo more often.

Plus Mirror Force not only has the potential to be used better by better players, but it allows for the player on the recieving end to play smarter, e.g taking control of their monster with EC so it dies, or BoM a monster to escape destruction etc.

i agree they should bring back force but should probably semi limit sakuretsu armor and limit widespread ruin.... i think this because mirror force will make cyber steins and bazoo removal 1 hit kill decks think before attacking ... what do u think?

I'll gladly trade all 1 for 1 monster destroyers for a single Mirror Force, but I'd never want to see them released together.

limit widespread?! NO! That card has nothing on sakretsu. this card screwed me over so many times. Here is a good example: Opponent has Don Z and Blade Knight. You have widespread. Which one would you rather eliminate? Most of the time it is Don because he has a better effect. Widespread is only good in one or two in this format. Once mirror force comes back, it will be barely sought after.

There'd be no need. Did anyone use Sakuretsu when Mirror Force was allowed last format? Not really, just the guys that were on their "originality" high, or the ones that didn't have one.

on that note, Lightning Vortex was used last banlist a lot more than it is now... and i bet if Mirror Force was brought back and the banlist/restricted list is changed Smashings will still be popular.

I wouldn't mind having MF back... it'd be weak to many things in this meta(well the CC one at least) since it's not chainable.

Beware the dark side of the force
Those against mirror force's deserved return to the meta in the next banned/restricted list are on the dark side of the force, as they always lost because of it and have friends in high places
No but seriously, with all the spell/trap destruction available, why ban a trap card that is only triggered when they attack?
Bring back the force, so I may once again rule with my deck...well at least agains't the kids in the regionals

I'm not even gonna say that Mirror Force is a balanced card, because it isn't. But if Sakuretsu, Widespread, Bottomless, and such are restricted, it has a possibility to come back. It definitely keeps a duelist from summoning more than one monster on the field.
So it solves (partly) the threat of swarm decks.

well mirror force could be a 1 for 5 so too much power, now we have to deal with 1 for 1's

It would rarely be 1 for 5... otherwise you must be talking about some crazy people Mirror Force is often expected, so it will mostly only take out 1, 2 or 3 monsters.
