Most of my pokemon only know 3 attacks and I teach/delete hms as needed.

i hate the pokemon i train alot knowing tms so i teach them temporary then delete them

I beat the game and i didnt teach cut to any one and i taught flash when i entered victory road;you dont reeally need those HMs

flash is pointless any1 that has some intelligence can get through the cavs that "require" flash andcut is needed to battle extra trainers get extra berries and special items

I taught cut to something(i forgot), and put it away when done. The HMs I need are on pokemon in my team that I focus on. I very rarely use fly, because I don't feel like training that pokemon, plus the walking is good for training the others.

Absol, i dont even have ut in my bag cause i was to lazy to get it, so i most certainly do not need cut

I just use an HM slave. In the game, as it is not too hard you generally only need 4 pokemon so I use the last spaces on my team for two pokemon that together know as many HM moves as possible.

just catch a few zigzagoons-i tink they learn all the HMs

Zigs (Zigzagoons) can learn some but not all HMs. I always teach mine cut, rock smash, and surf. And Linoone can also learn strength.

Zigs are the handiest pokes in the game. Everyone must have zigs or the game wont go as well

i had zigs but when i restarted i decided i didnt want any but i really like there ability to pick up items

How do Zigs' affect work, anyhow? Just carry a few in your team and use Thief or Snatch or something?

dont let zigs have any items then battle a few people and look at there stats and they will be holding an item like protien PP up hyper potion greatball ect.

ive gotten kings rock, ultra ball, full restore, super potion, rare candie, super potion, full heal, super potion, and a few more super potion. Oh, that and the vitamin thingies..

Zigs rock.

Not only are they good HM slaves, but as I have posted many times they are regular little poke-vacuums and will pickup an amazing amount of stuff. I always just train my starter and have like 4 or 5 zigs to walk around with whenever I can. Another thing is that they can learn 'covet' which is what you need to steal a Dragon Scale or Moonstone or any other item a wild pokemon is holding. The move works like 'Thief'. Just make sure that before you use covet your zig/linoone isn't already holding an item.
