Kaldra rumor
I don't know if anyone else has noticed, But ever since I heard about KALDRA I have thought that he was the dude I was wondering about on culling scales picture...
P.S. he is wearing a helm for anyone that may also be looking for juicy gossip and the like.

Only time will tell. Who Kaldra is, how did he get these items, ect. Probably the Helm will come out next then in the new set Kaldra comes out. I really don't think the guy on the Culling Scales is it. But, if you look at the Special edition Sword of Kaldra you see this lizard like arm. That could be him/her/it.

I doubt there will actually be a card of Kaldra. Whoever he is, he probably left his weapons scattered out around Mirrodin. He's prolly a planeswalker too.
Maybe he's Karn....
Anyway i'm guessing the Helm of Kaldra will sport around whatever the new keyword in Fifth dawn is gonna be.
although just like his sword dealed with unbeatable offence, and the sheild dealed with unbeatable defence, what would a helm do......
maybe unbeatable inteligence (like tons of card draw or summin)
we'll find out soon enough

*spoiler*
Read "The Darksteel Eye" (Mirrodin book 2), to see who/what came of uniting the Kaldra items.

he's a champion that gets summoned when all of the things of Kaldra are used, a very big dude that eventually gets controlled by memnarch, or something like that I'm just going off of things I have been told about
I bet someone else could describe him better...

From what I know, he's not a planeswalker. He is just a powerful badass. In the past, I have seen many players mistake characters with some power, like Arcanis, for planeswalkers. Arcanis is just a Wizard, not a planeswalker.

Read the italics. I just copied and pasted this from the MTG site. I think something will happen when you have all 3 out...

But what was supposed to be the world's salvation turns out to be a vile trick. With a single spell, Memnarch seizes the avatar and turns it on Glissa and her companions.
Kaldra's avatar relentlessly pursues Glissa into the Tangle, destroying everything in its way. Finally, at the Radix, Glissa's destiny becomes clear. As rage and despair overcome her, Glissa's body calls forth a great column of green mana from Mirrodin's core, annihilating the avatar in the process. Now that mana hangs overhead in a glowing sphere--the green sun at last, Mirrodin's fifth dawn.
The Fifth Dawn set takes Mirrodin block out with a bang. Bigger creatures, better effects, faster equipment, and more reasons to play all five colors. Throw in cards that combine in ways guaranteed to wreck your opponent and you get a set you have to play to believe.
