Some of my pokemon cant evolve?!?!?
i am playing lg and im using Action Replay. I know, cheap way of playing..anyways, i used the codes to get a mareep and im playing the game and it reaches level 15 where it evolves into flaffy, but it doesnt evolve! i figure it MIGHT have to do that they were achieved by cheating..lol. but im also wondering if that it has to deal with the fact that they were obtained before the National dex is obtained. i dunno. can somebody please help me! thanx!

I guess it's probably cuz of having the Pokemon before you got the NationalDex. Cuz the Pokemon isn't listed in the Pokedex so It won't Evolve. That's my best guess. I don' know much about AR but, it's possible that that's why your Mareep won't Evolve. But I think it's probably not.

i think you may have pressed the b button.that always was the way to stop a pokemon evolution.

more than likely it is the National Dex problem...Action Replay would'nt cause something l;ike that unless it had to do with Liking you to evolve...
Also like someone said...the B button might have been pressed

Although I dought it was cuz you Pressed the B Button Accidentaly or whatever. Well, when your Mareep Leveled up to 15, did it even have the Evolution Screen come up? Cuz if it comes up and you Pressed B, you will no because it will say "Huh? Mareep Stopped Evolving." Or something like that. But if the Evolution Screen thing didn't come up then it's Probably the National Dex thing.

ok, i didnt press b. i evolved it to level 15 and then it showed the evo-screen and the words said, " mareep is evolving!" or something like that. like a normal pokemon when it evolves, it kinda shows a morph between the two, like an example with mareep it would be between mareep and flaffy. This didnt happen. it stopped after a few seconds and " ? " showed up on the screen. i think it does have to deal with the nat. dex cause my other pokemon can evolve that i used AR to get like one of the starters.

Well than this has been answered. It's cuz the Pokemon havn't been Registered into the National Dex so the Game doesn't no whats happening. Cuz the Pokemon isn't Part of the game before the nat Dex. This Topics question has been answered so it can be Locked... Unless someone know a different reason...

You're not really supposed to see any non-Kanto Pokemon until you get the ND. Therefore, the game will prevent all evolutions that's non-Kanto.

evolve answer (maybe)
maybe because if u download from a actionreplay u can not make it evolve or maybe because it does not evolve at l.15.
