Default Tidal Wave Tournament Chapters 18-22

CHAPTER 18

“First, I will activate the Magic card, Kishido Spirit; next, Amazoness Tiger will attack your Luster Dragon!” Sentra ordered.

The orange tiger lunged at the Luster dragon. Once it made contact, the Amazoness tiger tackled the dragon to the ground and tore it to pieces.

Mai=3400 Sentra=500

“Next, I will have Amazoness Paladin attack Birdface!” Sentra ordered.

The Amazoness Paladin jumped into the air and the Birdface flew at Amazoness Paladin the collision caused for an explosion but when the smoke cleared the Amazoness Paladin was glowing in blue Light and remained on the field.

“Why didn’t both of our monsters die?” Mai asked.

“My Magic card, Kishido Spirit doesn’t allow for my monsters to be destroyed in battle when battling a monster of equal attack strength.” Sentra said.

“She’s go this duel covered from all angles.” Aron said.

“Mai won’t let her win.” Joey responded.

“Well, hun, when Birdface goes to the graveyard I can search my deck for one Harpie Lady and place it into my hand.” Mai said.

“That’s just fine, doll.” Sentra replied. “Go my Amazoness Fighters, attack her Life Points directly!”

The two female warriors charged at Mai and punched her at the same time.

Mai=800 Sentra=500

“I end my turn.” Sentra said.

“There decks are similar.” Aron said, “They both use cards that allow for them to swarm the field with their monsters.”

“Yep,” Joey replied, “It’s almost like watching a mirror match.”

“Well, I would say that we are on the Final stretch.” Mai said.

“Yep, it looks like we are.” Sentra replied.

“It’s time to end this!” Mai yelled, “I draw one card! I activate my trap card, Call of the Haunted, on Cyber Harpie!”
The Harpie reappeared on the field, this time looking more like a zombie.

“Next I will activate my Magic card, Elegant Egotist to special summon my Harpie Lady Sisters.” Mai added.

The three sisters appeared on the field again. This time they appeared more fierce, and ready to do battle.

“Next I activate my other face down card, Ultimate Offering!” Mai shouted.

A Green beast appeared behind Mai as well. It looked exactly like the one behind Sentra.

“Now I will normal summon another Cyber Harpie at the cost of 500 Life Points!” Mai said.

Mai=300 Sentra=500

Yet another Cyber Harpie appeared on the field.

“Now I will remove Birdface from the graveyard to Special Summon Garuda the Wind Spirit!” Mai said.

A Large bird with strands of cloth wrapped around its waist appeared on the field. It flew around the field and then landed behind the Harpie army.

“Now I will tribute my Garuda, and my Harpie Lady Sisters for Harpie’s Pet Dragon!” Mai yelled.

The two monsters exploded into fireballs and a huge dragon emerged form the smoke. Its chains wrapped around the Cyber Harpies hands.

“Due to there being Rising Air Current on the field alongside my two Cyber Harpies, my Pet Dragon’s attack rises to 3100!” Mai explained.

“I…impossible!” Sentra said.

“Now, Harpie’s Pet Dragon, attack her Amazoness Tiger!” Mai ordered.

The large dragon charged a flaming fireball in its mouth and fired it directly at the Amazoness tiger.

Mai=300 Sentra=300

“Now my Cyber Harpie will destroy your weakened Amazoness Paladin and the rest of your Life Points!” Mai yelled.

“Not so fast.” Sentra said, “I activate my face down card, Reinforcements!”

An army of men suddenly appeared behind Amazoness Paladin and all of them aimed their swords at her as her sword began to glow. The Amazoness Paladin’s attack strength grew to 2500.

“Amazoness Paladin, counter attack!” Sentra yelled.

The Amazoness Paladin charged ferociously at the Cyber Harpie and stabbed it through the stomach.

Mai=100 Sentra=300

The Harpie’s Pet Dragon’s attack strength fell to 2800.

“It’s not a problem; my second Cyber Harpie can still destroy one of your Amazoness Fighters!” Mai ordered.

The Cyber Harpie flew at the Amazoness Fighter and obliterated her with a slash of her claw.

Mai=100 Sentra=300

“You’re lucky that your monster protects you from overflow damage.” Mai said. “I end my turn.”

“This is the end, doll.” Sentra replied. “I summon Marauding Captain, and special summon an Amazoness Blowpiper.”

Both familiar monsters reappeared on the field, this time with large frowns on their faces. Also the Amazoness Paladin’s attack increased to 2000.

“Now, Mai, it’s over.” Sentra said, “I activate my Magic card, the A. Forces!”

Suddenly the Amazoness Paladin’s attack grew to 2800. The Amazoness Fighter’s attack grew to 2100. The Marauding Captain’s attack grew to 2000. Finally the Amazoness Blowpiper’s attack grew to 1600.

“What is going on!?” Mai yelled.

“The A. Forces increases each Warrior on my side of the field by 200 attack points for each warrior monster on my side of the field.” Sentra explained. “Now, Amazoness Paladin, obliterate Mai’s Cyber Harpie!”

“Nooo!” Joey yelled, “Mai!”

The Amazoness Paladin charged at Mai’s Cyber Harpie, and aimed her sword at Cyber Harpie as the sword began to glow light blue. The Amazoness Paladin and Cyber Harpie met in the air and at the Amazoness Paladin slashed with her sword the Cyber Harpie blocked with its claws. Both monsters stared each other down as did the duelists. Then the Cyber Harpie was thrown back from the attack, and landed on the ground shattering into pieces.

Mai=0 Sentra=300

“Sentra,” Mai said as she fell to both knees, “Fight with me in mind. Don’t embarrass me by losing to anyone else.”

Sentra nodded in response.

“Mai!” Joey yelled as he ran to the platform.

“Joey.” Mai replied, “I…love…you.”

With that final sentence Mai fell to the ground and moved no more.

“Sentra wins.” Silen said. “Now to dispose of the waste.”

“Don’t you dare hurt her, Silen!” Joey ordered.

“Fine.” Silen said.

He raised his finger and Mai levitated into the air, he then threw her body into a wall on the upper deck where everyone in the Finals was.

“You <pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz>!” Joey yelled. “I’m going to kill you for that!”

“Well prove it to me, hot stuff.” Silen responded. “Our duel is next.”

CHAPTER 19

Silen and Joey both stared each other down as their duel disks opened and their Life Points were set at 4000.

Silen=4000 Joey=4000

“Show me your power, Joey.” Silen said. “You can make the first move.”

“Fine, Silen,” Joey yelled, “I draw! I summon Panther Warrior I attack mode, and I set two cards face down.”

A large, black, panther in a purple warrior outfit appeared on the field wielding a massive sword. It growled signifying its eagerness for battle.

“I end my turn.” Joey said.

“Very well,” Silen replied, “Quite the powerful opening move. Now let me show you mine. I summon Gagagigo in attack mode.”

An aqua-marine colored reptilian creature appeared on the field.

“Now I will play the Magic card, A Legendary Ocean!” Silen ordered.

The field was overcome with water and huge monuments that resembled ancient cities appeared behind Silen. Suddenly Gagagigo’s attack increased to 2050.

“Next I will set two cards face down.” Silen said. “Now my Gagagigo will demolish your Panther Warrior.”

The Gagagigo charged full speed at the Panther Warrior it reached back its claw but suddenly the large Panther Warrior blocked the Gagagigo’s attack with its arm that was suddenly wrapped with chains and stabbed it through the chest causing an explosion.

Silen=3550 Joey=4000

“I activate my trap card, Silen.” Joey said quite smugly, “Blast with Chain. It increases my monster’s attack by 500 points permanently.”

“Good move, Joey.” Silen replied, “Now I will remove my Gagagigo to Special Summon Aqua Spirit in attack mode.

A mystical aqua princess appeared on the field. Bubbles formed around her as she seemingly floated above the ground.

“My Aqua Spirit’s attack increases to 1800 due to my Legendary Ocean. I end my turn.” Silen said.

“I draw!” Joey said, “Your Aqua girl isn’t going to stand a chance against the power of my…What?!?!”

Joey looked at the field and saw that his Panther Warrior was kneeling, signifying that it was in defense mode.

“Surprised?” Silen asked.

“You cheater!” Joey yelled, “What did you do?”

“Oh, Joey, I don’t cheat. I just win.” Silen said. “The effect of my Aqua Spirit allows for me to change the position of one of your monsters during each of your standby phases.”

“Well that’s fine, because I’ll just change it back into attack mode.” Joey said.

“No, Joey, since your monster’s position was changed during your turn you can’t change it back.” Silen explained.

Joey scowled at Silen’s sneaky maneuver.

“Well, Joey, are you going to complete your turn?” Silen questioned.

“Oh yes I am.” Joey replied. “I play the Magic card, Giant Trunade!”

A Large storm in the shape of a tornado appeared on the field and swept all of the Magic and Trap cards that were on the field back to the owners’ hands. Aqua Spirit’s attack fell to 1600 and Panther Warrior’s attack fell to 2000.

“Clever.” Silen said.

“Now, I summon Gearfried the Iron Knight!” Joey yelled.

A Large metallic warrior appeared on the field. It had mirror armor on its arms that resembled broken shields.

“Now, I will set two cards face down, and I will have Gearfried attack Aqua Spirit!” Joey ordered.

The Large Warrior sped at the Aqua Spirit and slashed through her. A soft cry could be heard from the Aqua Spirit as she was destroyed.

Silen=3350 Joey=4000

“Ha!” Joey yelled out. “This time I’m not gonna let you win.”

“I draw one card.” Silen said. “Now I will replay the Magic card, A Legendary Ocean.”

The field was again covered with water and the ancient city reformed behind Silen.

“Now I will set two cards face down.” Silen said. “I will also play the Magic card, Premature Burial.”

Silen=2550 Joey=4000

“At the cost of 800 of my own Life Points, I can revive one monster. I choose to revive Aqua Spirit.”
The small aqua girl again appeared on the field.

“Now I will tribute my Aqua Spirit for the monster known as Suijin!” Silen shouted.

The water around both Joey and Silen rose and formed a large beast that took the place of the Aqua Spirit. It had ancient lettering on it and it floated above the surface of the floor beneath it.

“How did you summon a seven star monster with only one tribute?” Joey questioned.

“My Magic card, A Legendary Ocean not only increases the attack and defense of all Water monsters by 200 but also lowers the stars of all Water monsters by one.” Silen explained. “So my Suijin went from a two tribute monster to a one tribute monster.”

“Whoa.” Aron said. “This Silen guy is good.”

Yami stood motionless staring at Tea who was still staring at Joey from the shadows.

“Now my Suijun’s attack will be increased by 200 making its attack 2700!” Silen yelled, “Now, Suijin, attack his Gearfried!”

The large aqua beast charged a blue energy ball in its mouth and fired it at Gearfried.

“I was gonna save this, but let’s give it a go.” Joey said. “I activate my trap card, Skull dice! As well as my Magic card, Graceful Dice”

A small skull like demon with a red die in its hands appeared on the field next to a lighter fairy with a blue die in its hands.

“Whatever number I roll will be multiplied by 100 and deducted from your Suijin’s attack.” Joey explained. “Then my Graceful Dice will increase Gearfried’s attack points by the number rolled times 100.”

The demon threw the die and rolled it.

“Come on, anything but a 1.” Joey pleaded as the die rolled.

The die slowly stopped and landed on a 5.

“Yeah!” Joey yelled out.

Suijin’s attack dropped to 2200. Then the Angel rolled its die. The die slowly landed on a 4. Suijin’s attack dropped to 1800.

“Perfect!” Joey yelled out. “Gearfried counter attack the Suijin!”

Gearfried jumped at Suijin’s attack and blasted through it. When it sped at Suijin, it slashed but its arm fell off and Gearfried suddenly shattered.

Silen=2550 Joey=3300

“I activate my quick play Magic card, Rush Recklessly!” Silen shouted.

The Suijun began to glow as its attack jumped to 2500.

“Rush Recklessly increases my monster’s attack by 700.” Silen explained. “So basically your cards were wasted.”

“I’m still in the lead.” Joey said.

“Joey, when will you learn that you can struggle as much as you want, but you will never compare to the best. You are just like a dog on a leash.” Silen said.

“What did you just call me?!” Joey yelled.

“A dog.” Silen replied with a smirk.

“You’ll pay for that remark.” Joey said. “I draw!”

CHAPTER 20

“Nobody calls me a dog and gets away with it!” Joey shouted. “I shift my Panther Warrior into attack mode.”

The large panther returned to its attack pose.

“Now I will play the Magic card, Lightning blade!” Joey shouted.

The Panther Warrior’s blade transformed into a larger blade with lightning surging form it. Panther Warrior’s attack jumped to 2800.

“Now I activate my Magic card, Scapegoat!” Joey yelled.

4 small sheep appeared on the field. Each was a different color but all looked identical otherwise.

“You Suijin is powerful, but its attack is only 2700. My panther Warrior’s attack is still stronger.” Joey said. “Go, Panther Warrior, attack Suijin!”

The Panther Warrior’s blade absorbed one of the small goats, and then the Panther Warrior jumped into the air and slashed at the Suijin. Suddenly the Suijin began to glow and a light blue aura surrounded it. Then the Panther Warrior’s attack dropped to 0.
“What is going on?!?” Joey yelled. “This isn’t right!”

“The effect of my Suijin allows for me to lower an attacking monster’s attack to 0 once during the entire duel. So now you are going to be hurting big time, Joey.” Silen said.

The Suijin blasted through the Panther Warrior with a blast of water which directly hit Joey. Joey soared through the air and landed on his back.

Silen=2550 Joey=600

“Stay down.” Silen said.

“No, I won’t lose this.” Joey said. “I set one card face down, and I end my turn.”

“I draw.” Silen said, “At this rate I won’t even have to use my god card on you. I summon the monster known as Cure Mermaid.”

A beautiful mermaid with long blonde hair appeared on the field.

“Due to my Legendary Ocean her attack increases to 1700.” Silen explained. “Now, Cure Mermaid and Suijin, attack his two scapegoats!”

The two monsters charged for a large blast and fired their combined attacks at Joey’s monsters, obliterating them from the field.

“Now you only have one small goat to defend the rest of your Life Points.” Silen pointed out. “Give in Joey.”

“Never.” Joey replied. “I draw once card. I play the Magic card, Roulette Spider!”

A small digital spider appeared on the field and latched itself onto Suijin.

“My Roulette Spider randomly picks, my Scapegoat, your Cure Mermaid, or even myself or you. Whichever it chooses Suijin attacks.” Joey explained. “So you better hope that it doesn’t choose your Life Points, because that would be horrible for you, now wouldn’t it?”

The spider began to spin Suijin quickly on the field.

“Stop, now, Suijin.” Silen calmly said.

“Why is he so calm?” Joey said to himself.

The Suijin slowly stopped and landed on Silen.

“Ha!” Joey exclaimed. “Now you lose, Silen!”
The Large beast fired a blast of water at Silen. When it was about to make contact two large tornadoes appeared on the field and absorbed the attack.

“Not this!” Joey yelled, “I remember this from my duel with Mako in Battle City.”

“Yes, Joey.” Silen replied, “I activate my Trap card, Tornado Wall. So as long as it is on the field wit my Legendary Ocean you can’t deal damage to my Life Points through battle.”

The digital Roulette Spider vanished and Suijin returned to Silen’s side of the field.

“Are you finished yet?” Silen asked.

“No, I will summon Alligator’s Sword Dragon in attack mode. I will also set one card face down.” Joey said. “Now I end my turn.”

“I draw!” Silen shouted. “Since my Cure Mermaid is on the field I gain 800 Life Points every turn!”

Silen=3350 Joey=600

“Now I will finish you by attacking your Alligator’s Sword Dragon with my Suijin!” Silen ordered.

Suijin fired a large beam of water in Alligator Sword’s direction. Suddenly the water of Suijin’s attack diminished into thin air.

“I activated my trap card, Energy Drain!” Joey shouted. “It has the same effect as your Suijin. How does it feel to be on the other side?”

The Alligator’s Sword Dragon sped at Suijin and sliced through it. The large beast crumbled on the field. Suddenly the Tornadoes reappeared on the field and absorbed the overflow battle damage.

Silen=3350 Joey=600

“I don’t care if I can’t touch your Life Points, as long as Suijin is gone, I’ll be fine.” Joey said.

“Are you so sure, Joey?” Silen asked. “I will now have my Cure Mermaid attack your Alligator’s Sword Dragon!”

The Mermaid sent a beam of bubbles at the Alligator’s Sword Dragon. The Dragon tried to shield itself but the power was too much for it. The Dragon shattered on the field.

Silen=3350 Joey=400
“I end my turn, Joey.” Silen said. “Make your move good.”

“I will, Silen.” Joey said, “I definitely will. I draw! This is it! I activate the Magic card, Raigeki!”

A large lightning bolt struck the field and obliterated Silen’s monster.

“I’m happy that you have such rare cards, Joey.” Silen said. “I can’t wait to add that one to my collection when I defeat you.”

“Don’t count your chickens before they hatch, sleezeball!” Joey snapped back. “Now I activate mystical Space Typhoon on your Tornado Wall!”

A small Tornado kicked up and shattered Silen’s trap card.

“Now, Silen, I play monster Reborn on your Suijin!” Joey ordered.

The Large blue beast reappeared on Joey’s side of the field.

“Now, Suijin, attack Silen directly!” Joey yelled.

The Large beast charged up a large ray of blue light and fired it at Silen. The attack launched Silen back, but Silen kept his footing and didn’t fall.

Silen=650 Joey=400

“I end my turn, Silen.” Joey said.

“Very nice, Joey,” Silen said. “You’ve gotten me low. But not low enough. For now this match must end.”

CHAPTER 21

“I draw one card.” Silen said. “Joey, you are truly the warrior of your little group. You are the one who will never give in; the fighter. Today you will learn your lesson.”

“Quit blabberin’ Silen.” “Joey shot out. “I’m the one who is gonna win this!”

“The lesson that you will learn is that you should research your enemy before you decide to take him head on.” Silen said.

“What are you talkin’ about?” Joey said. “You really need to go back to the loony bin, Silen.”

“Let me show you what I am talking about.” Silen said. “I will play the Magic card, Snatch Steal on your Suijin.”

Suddenly Suijin moved to Silen’s side of the field.

“Next I will activate my face down trap card, Call of the Haunted, on my Cure Mermaid.”

Suddenly the mermaid reappeared on the field but she wasn’t as beautiful as she was before. She looked like a fish that was dried up on a beach.

“Now I will play a Magic card that I am sure you are familiar with.” Silen said. “Monster Reborn.”

“No!” Aron shouted. “Joey, forfeit this match now!”

“I don’t forfeit.” Joey replied.

“I will revive my Gagagigo.” Silen said.

The large blue reptile reappeared on the field.

“Now, Joey, let me show you God!” Silen shouted. “I sacrifice, Cure Mermaid, Gagagigo, Suijin, and My Legendary Ocean; to summon The God of Atlantis, Rapture!”

All three monsters were absorbed into the sky and a huge beast 10 times the size of Suijin began to appear on the field.

“WH-What is that thing?!?” Sentra shouted.

“That is his God.” Tea said from the corner of the arena.

Yami and Aron looked on in amazement.

The blue God sang a hymn that sounded something like a whale as it appeared fully on the field. Its blue aura caused the entire arena to appear blue.

“That’s the thing that beat Kaiba!” Joey yelled out.

Suddenly The Scapegoat and Joey’s face down card shattered and Rapture’s attack grew to 20000.

“What is happening?!?!” Joey yelled. “Its attack just doubled!”

“When my creature is summoned, it destroys all cards on the field.” Silen said. “For each card destroyed it gains 5000 attack points.”

“That thing is…” Sentra said in amazement.
“Unstoppable.” Yami finished.

“Now, Joey, feel the power of God!” Silen shouted. “Rapture, attack Joey’s Life Points directly, Wrath of Heaven’s Tribute!!!”

The large beast shook the field as its aura turned black and it fired a beam of pure white light at Joey.

“Joey, no!” Yami shouted as he ran towards his friend.

“Yami, stay back!” Aron shouted as he held Yami back.

The attack connected with Joey and launched him back onto the ground. The attack continued to press Joey into the platform as his screams of pain could be heard.

“How does it feel to see two of your friends in pain and you unable to stop it?” Silen said as he looked at Yami.

“SILEN!!!” Yami shouted.

Suddenly, the platform where Joey was laying gave out and Joey fell through the arena and was still pushed more into the level beneath as Rapture took to the sky and aimed its beam down.

“STOP!” Yami yelled as he could hear his friend screaming from the pain.

“I’ll stop when I hear his screams halt.” Silen said.

The attack began to fade as did Joey’s screams.

Silen=650 Joey=0

Rapture ascended into the Apocalypse Aura as did a small white beam that came form Joey’s body.

“Well I declare myself the winner.” Silen said.

“You beast!” Yami yelled. “Come after me if you want to so badly! Leave my friends alone!”

“But it’s so much fun to see you in pain.” Silen said. “Face it, Yami. You have nothing left. Mai, Joey, and Kaiba are all gone, and Tea is obviously not on your side.”

“I am on his side.” Aron said. “And I know the weakness to your deck!”

“Well isn’t that too bad.” Silen replied. “Because the next match is Yami versus you; and I highly doubt that Yami will throw the match just so you can pursue your little plot that you have against me. See, Yami? Nobody is on your side. Everyone wants to win, and nobody is left to root for you.”

Yami collapsed to his knees in a state of mental shock.

“The hero of the story falls to his knees in front of me.” Silen added. “How appropriate.”

“Silen.” Sentra said. “You will regret each and every move that you have made so far. Whether it is Aron, I, Tea, or Yami, you will have to face one of us in the Finals.”

“And I will win.” Silen replied.

“Are you so sure?” Sentra said. “Let’s put it this way, Aron isn’t the only one who sees your flaw.”

“Oh, I’m shaking.” Silen said. “Do you think that you have no flaw? Do you think that Aron has no flaw? Do you think that Tea has no flaw? Do you think that Yami has no flaw? Every time each of you duels I see your flaws. It’s as easy as that. But the difference between you and me is that I actually act on your weaknesses, whereas you will all try to act on mine, but will fail.”

“We’ll see about that!” Sentra said.

“Yes, Sentra,” Silen replied, “We will.”

CHAPTER 22

“Well, enough chit-chat.” Silen said. “Let the final round of the Semi-Finals begin. Yami and Aron take your places.”

Yami stood on is feet.

“If my friends aren’t with me in body, this doesn’t mean that they aren’t with me in spirit. They are depending on me to save them. This is what I must do.” Yami said. “This is my mission.”

Yami and Aron walked to their places on the arena.

“Let this match begin!” Silen declared.

“Yami, it is going to be hard to beat you, but I have to duel Silen.” Aron said.

“Likewise, Aron.” Yami replied. “I have people who are counting on me to save them. I also have to break Tea of the darkness that has taken her over.”
“This darkness that you speak of, Yami,” Tea said as she walked to the dueling platform. “This has been building ever since before Duelist Kingdom. I told you I’m not who you think I am, and you will learn on e way or another that I mean business.”

“But Tea…” Yami said.

“Don’t you ‘But Tea’ me, you coward.” Tea said. “You won’t save me from anything. I suggest that you worry about saving yourself first.”

With that comment, Tea walked to the opposite side of the upper deck and stared out at the ocean.

“She’s right. You should only worry about yourself. You are your own ticket to getting your friends freed. Don’t worry about me losing my soul.” Aron said. “If you have the chance to win then beat me, because I’m not going to hold back.”

“Alright, Aron.” Yami replied. “Let’s duel!”

Yami=4000 Aron=4000

“Yami, I will start this duel.” Aron said. “I set one monster in defense mode, and I play the continuous Magic card, Dark Room of Nightmare!”

The field grew dark, and ancient columns rose from the field. It appeared that Yami and Aron were dueling inside of an ancient chamber that would be found in Egypt. Screams could be heard from inside.

“Now I will set two cards face down, and I will end my turn.” Aron said.

“I draw!” Yami shouted. “I summon Obnoxious Celtic Guardian in attack mode!”

A warrior with pointed ears and wearing a green and brown outfit appeared on the field wielding a large blade.

“I will also set two cards face down ending my turn.” Yami declared.

“Yami, you can’t fear my cards or you will lose the duel before you know it.” Aron said. “I summon X-Head cannon in attack mode!”

A large, yellow, machine with cannons on its shoulders appeared on the field. It seemed to be the shoulders and head of a larger machine as it floated above the field.

“Now I will have my X-Head Cannon destroy your Obnoxious Celtic Guardian!” Aron said.

The large machine fired two beams from its cannons that lay on its shoulders. The two beams connected with the Guardian and obliterated it.

Yami=3600 Aron=4000

“Clever, Aron,” Yami commented, “You knew that my Obnoxious Celtic Guardian can’t be destroyed by a monster with 1900 attack or more, so you ordered an 1800 attack monster to destroy it.”

“Yami, I knew you would be here, and I have prepared my deck for anything; even God.” Aron said as he stared in Silen’s direction.

Silen laughed at Aron’s attempt at an insult.

“I end my turn.” Aron said focusing on the duel at hand.

“I draw!” Yami said. “I summon Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts in attack mode, and I set one card face down ending my turn”

A Large wolf like creature appeared on the field.

“Ah, setting a weak monster so you can lure me into an attack therefore triggering one of your cleverly placed face down traps.” Aron commented. “I’m all ready for this one.”

“It’s like he’s reading my mind, but he isn’t.” Yami said to himself. “He just has really prepared himself for this match.”

“I draw.” Aron said. “I summon Y-Dragon Head in attack mode!”

Another machine that resembled a red dragon appeared on the field.

“Now I will flip summon my face down monster, Z-Metal Tank!” Aron shouted.

A yellow machine that had four legs appeared on the field and crawled.

“Now, I will win this.” Aron said. “I fuse together my X-Head Cannon, my Y-Dragon Head, and my Z-Metal Tank to form XYZ-Dragon Cannon!”

The three machines latched onto each other and a gigantic machine that seemed to be a combination of all three machines appeared on the field. The X-Head Cannon seemed to be the upper body, the Y-Dragon Head seemed to be the torso, and the Z-Metal Tank was the base.

“This strategy is familiar.” Yami said.

“The XYZ strategy may seem familiar but what I’m about to do with this strategy is far from common!” Aron shouted. “I will discard three cards from my hand to destroy your Gazelle, as well as your two face down cards!”

The large robotic monster fired three beams at Yami’s monster and face down cards and immediately vanquished them.

“Now I activate my face down Magic card, Limiter Removal!” Aron shouted. “This is what makes my strategy unique. This card will double the attack of my XYZ-Dagon Cannon and since you have nothing to defend you, will finish off the rest of your Life Points!”

“Whoa, Yami’s out!” Sentra said.

“Well this is a sudden turn of events.” Silen said.

The XYZ-Dragon Cannon’s attack skyrocketed to 5600. Electricity could be seen forming all around it as its gears began to shake from the surge in power.

“Now, XYZ-Dragon Cannon, take Yami down!” Aron shouted.

The XYZ-Dragon Cannon fired a huge beam of energy from all three cannons as well as from its torso at Yami.

“You did well, Aron.” Yami said as the attack approached him, “I do not mind losing to a duelist like you.”

“Thank you, Yami.” Aron replied. “This duel has been fun.”
