First Edition and Unlimited
I was just curious to see if anyone only made their deck out of unlimited version cards or only out of First Edition cards or do you mix and match and put cards in your deck that you can get? I was just curious. THX

Most people generally mix.. though I know some kid who played a completely first edition holo deck once. If it wasn't a holo, and wasn't first edition, it wasn't in his deck. He lost with it. >_>

I mix and maatch. The only 1st/ed cards I'll always keep in my deck would be Pot of Greed and Cyber Jar. I don't care what edition the other cards are.

I also have antother question. Would you rather buy a 35$ Pot of Greed so its the orginal one or save the money and use a Starter Deck One?

Alot of people TRY to get all 1st ed, but, don't ever really succeed. Pretty much everybody plays with a mixture, probably more unlimited.

$35 bucks for Pot? LOB or DB1? The LOB one I could easily get for a dollar, but as rare as the DB1 one is I MIGHT pay 35 for it.. even then though unlikely.

Its DB1. THe point of me saying that is would you rather spend more money on the better looking version or the cheaper version of the card?

I mix and match. I don't care as long as it's the card I need.

I always collect a 1st Edition of each card from every set, but I make my Deck out of the cheapest version of the cards I'm using (love those Starter/Structure Decks).

No that will never happen in my whole life. The only time I do that is when I have several cards of the same name. I either put in all 1st or non 1st that way I have an easier time finding my stuff other than saying that that card was 1st or not.

I could really care less if my deck includes first edition/unlimited cards.
I make my deck with the cards I have and proxy what I don't have; I never bother to look if a card's first edition or not.

I play with the 1/e holo version of most cards in my decks. My main deck is completely 1/e while my fun deck is missing a 1/e Mirror Force. I also use the holo Pot of Greed in both decks, although I do have 2 1/e LOB ones as well. I prefer the 1/e cards over unlimited. Also, I win my share of tournaments and matches.
