What Would You do if the Yu-Gi-Oh! characters were real?

I would beat Yugi and Kaiba, steal Tea's soul with the seal, convince Mai to join a strip club, and beat Pegasus at his own game.

Beating Pegasus being the Creator would be cool. I'd also beat probably all the other characters with a REAL deck and be like, HA, your card doesn't work like that. This isn't the ANIME anymore. LOL

I'd probably try to get myself a Sennen Item, provided that they become real as well. Then I'd go up against probably Haga or something. Start off small and work up higher to like Bakura, Malik, Atemu, Kaiba, and Jono (yes ... I think Jono'd be a really good Duelist).

Somehow I think Jonouchi's deck would be way to situational, unless he just had godly luck. However, if the characters were real I would probably bow down and worship Kaiba for creating actual holgraphic duel disks, and then I would make him dance like a monkey as I beat down his BEWD's with my Clown Control deck.

If the character's couldn't use their cards then they really wouldn't be using their same decks. To say that have to come into our world play with our rules and our cards and aren't allowed to use their cards that aren't in the OCG/TCG yet is like you aren't even dueling the character anymore. It's just like if I made a Mai character deck, sure you would probably beat it with a CCC deck but you aren't really duling Mai's deck since all of her cards don't exist int the game. Meh, if you want to do it that way, then you are simply dueling character decks and not the characters.

Some of you have disturbing ideas of what to do with the characters. As for me, if the characters were real, I really couldn't do anything.

1- I do not live anywhere near their location.
2- I'm not going to waste money to go over and duel them. Like Oracle said, it's not really dueling them if they don't have the cards they use.

But I can say this much. Kazuki Takahashi would be a very happy man.

Good post! Sensible, without the overblown ego evident in some of the other posts. And I don't know how happy Takahashi would be. I made a thread a while back- "If The Characters Met The Creator"- and they wouldn't be happy with him for making their lives the way they were made.

"How DARE you make me a bad guy!" etc etc.

"Real"... hah.

So what do you mean by real?

In a sense they are real, because they have an anime and a manga series, one at least is shown often on card tins, and people think of them as real personalities. You can't love or hate something or someone without them becoming real in some way.

As for the physical, solid people who match their anime counterparts in appearance, personality, voice, etc... well, the closest you could come would involve cosplayers. Some cosplayers work hard. Others... *cough*

And I doubt they would let you ****/murder/steal from them. Sorry, but somehow I have doubts that your little fantasies would work out just the way you plan them.

I know mine didn't.

I would befriend Kaiba and get him to give me a few rare cards. Then I'd duel Yugi or Jou for fun, since they're not psycho and they aren't pompous or arrogant at all. They'd probably give me a good duel.
