you shouldnt stress yourself out with the side decks unless your going to join a tournament or something..

I love earth decks. I ran one before anyone saw the potential. Its a riot when you win 3 tournaments with it and then start seeing everyone there testing out what they thought you played. I will adjust your deck according to my playing style, so this may not be 100% what you want to do, but i'll try to explain as I adjust.

With Raigeki Break and Vortex, you need serpent. They will probably ban serpent in the next run, so use it as much as you can now. I would recommend side decking Enemy Controller if you find your opponent is summoning more than setting and exchange EC for Nobleman.

I found that 3 gigantes is too many. 2 is perfect. I'm a little concerned about 3 gorillas since there are so many enemy controllers out there now. Onc card that I dont see in your deck, but I found it to be incredibly useful when I ran earth was giant rat. When it gets destroyed you can choose between Lily or Exiled as the special summon depending on what the situation is.

Earth is the only type of deck that truely doesn't need any tributes. I thinned yours down to make sure that you don't topdeck tribute after tribute. That really sucks when that happens.

Before the fixes, I would rate 6/10. After, I would give it about 8/10. There are still some cards in there that concern me, but I didn't want to turn your deck into my deck. That's no fun. You should still enjoy it the way I changed it.

Ok. A quick story: once upon a time, when there was no Yata, DD anything and Chaos something, Earth warrior Decks were kings of this game for it's Beat down and Swarm. Now a lot exist and will murder the warriors quickly, therefore you need to learn from my ******ed story and use your brain and think how can you strategically overcome the new powerful cards. There's a lot to change.

Kind of CC ish, but that's how you become more competetive. and your SD reflects how you can switch you deck up however you want it to be.

Scapegoats aren't necessary being that you're on the offensive, however you do have alot of defensive cards that are worth the space. If you don't have DD's replace with what you have in the SD and make it trample/ goat prevention.

for ur side deck pack in as many kinetic soldiers and king tigers as posiible. (i.e. 3 of each), also id reccomend either some wave motion cannons or pikerus circle of enchantment/hallowed life barrier to counter burn. Some bottomless trap holes, magic drains and mobius if u have room should be enuff. This will counter warrior-chaos, burn, control, zombie and quite a few others. I wudnt reccomend kycoo. there r too many 2000 Atk 4* mosters running around for him to be effective against chaos now. Ull probably only have him on the field for 1/2 turns tops. Not long enuff for him to make an impact.
As an afterthought, u cud also try swarm of locusts and stealth bird in the side deck. Locusts is a gud S/T remover whilst using stealth bird is the equivalent of using the wave motion cannons, ur burn opponent probably isnt playin too much monster or S/T removal to counter u so there is every chance of u outburning them.
gud luck wi the deck, like other people have sed, dd assailant looks like it wud work well and adds another counter to the phoenix, chaos and zombie decks currently tearing up the metagame.
