Shaman King Judge Application
Ok fo reveryone who wants to try to be an Offical Shaman King Judge post here, Im trying to figure out how to myself and Im getting all the details. If you know where to take the test, sign up, and stuff let me know. Thanks

I hope that I may be able to be at least a lower level judge... maybe even a higehr level judge at that.
If I do find anything on how to sign up to be a judge, I will post up right away!

go to the upperdeck website, click on Spiderman, then on organized play, then on Certifications.
That's as far as I can get. I can't get there because I don't have a UDE#, and you need to enter a tournament to get one.

They don't even have a prjected availability date for the exam on the certifications site, which tends to make me believe they either aren't going to have judges, or they are working on the test as fast as they can. I personally hope it's the latter, so I can TO some SK tourneys.

I dont think UDE has anything launched for the SK game but you can find certifications on there site. www.ude.com/judge

Oh there will be judges. The question is just when we will have them. Really the question is when will we have tournaments period to necessitate them. I don't think we will have a test until the details of organized play is decided. There just isn't a use for them otherwise. So probably mid/late March will be when we see things boom.

As far as tournaments for SK go I havent heard a word. I checked the tourney list for UDE games at Origins 2005 and Shaman King isnt listed which really makes me upset. Looks like SK wont be having any big name tourneys until after June. Wizard World Philly still has yet to release their list but I can bet SK wont be on it.

i know the last post on this section was a couple of days
but when any one finds out i really wanna know because i want to be a judge i cant judge yugioh or duelmasters and theres really no point beacause we alrdy have judges for that so i want to judge this beacause i have studied as many of the cards as i can and i actuallt no more about this game than the yugioh judges at this store i only had one question about the game and i had it awnsered on the rulings thread
plz send me the info on becoming a judge when any one gets it

If you want to become a judge for Shaman King, you'll need to go to a convention. The soonest ones are GAMA (you won't be able to go) and Origins (everyone is going). I already emailed Ian Estrin about this stuff, and he told me that everything will be available at Origins. So hold tight. BTW, never go by the dates on UDE.com/op, they're a joke.
