Running Bear is an interesting choice. I saw the title of your thread and came running in because I run the same kind of deck but our decklists are totally different! I do have to ask though, why the Leviair? I'm not so sure where it'd come in in the deck. Good card definitely, but I feel it's not much use to you. Also not sure running 2 TGU is really that worth it, is it working well for you? I tried it and just didn't like it, and with the release of the ebony/ivory dragons I've had absolutely no desire to try using it again. :P

First about bear: Its MVP most of the times coz its so rare to be run here and you get people off guard (along with tenki... (the reason i run searchers and not milling engine is my luck: always mill spells with a monster count of 26)...
TGU is being tested atm...
As i said my luck is not really good: A lot of times opened with 2 (maybe i should take it out or maybe i should rip the card dunno yet :P )
I was away from yugioh and sold most of my stuff coz of the dragon format...
When will these guys come out? any info is appreciated
Leviar is only a TGU play (sometimes you bring back a random banished moster from a card effect or a dandy/lonefire from Spore effect)... Somethimes its good and i feel i have free space in extra deck(i believe thats rare for junk doppel players ! )

Additional Comment:

updating and bumping after testing:
-2 TGU +2 Forbidden Lance
-1 Photon Thrasher (cant atk with other monsters :/) +1 gene-warped warwolf

WoW didnt thought about this -> WU is tenki target and also its earth, so if i want to add meliae of the trees its possible to get that out!...
This seems nice!! thanks!!! ...
Gonna try it out and see how it goes ...

Have you tried Crane Crane with Junk Synchron ? Makes lvl 6s and Rank 3s combos with Doppelwarrior for some lvl 8 plays.

Yeah, Crane-crane passed through deep testing ..
First of all,i believe that the combo is really good but...I started with 3 down to 2 down to 1 down to 0... While testing i noticed that its kinda overkill sometimes and dead othertimes.. The times i used it and made me feel confident with my play are very very few... i decide that its not in my playstyle to use it and didnt try to put crane-crane in my deck

If i wanted to focus on getting out meilae of the trees though.... Using it and Wind-Up Rabbit could be a really awesome idea

imo
Spell Striker > WU

Spell Striker doesn't need normal summoning, and you have plenty of spell cards to pull him off.
Rota target aswell.

I see your reasoning behind Crane Crane, I yes I do agree that Wind-Up Rabbit is better. Also Wind-Up Rabbit > Spell Striker. Besides Wind-Up Rabbit avoid destruction and searchable by Tenki. By I'ma try both Spell Striker and Rabbit

I guess it's situational which is best.
Though i prefer turbo decks, and therefor Spell Striker xD.

But why no Level Eater?, beside him you have the cards for the Quasar Dragon combo O_o?

Spell Striker was in my side deck coz i had this idea to swap into a deck that focuses on meliae of the trees but then i drop him coz its another little atk combo reliant monster :P (Level Eater is not used for the same reason: i dont want to have a lot combo reliant cards that can be very dead if you havent draw the rest of your combo pieces ) I live in EU and quasar isnt legal here unfortunately... if it comes out though i might consider it though i believe the plant engine provides a good play for quasar

I would just go for 3 Tengus cuz, the dragons kinda get cloggy, but tengus need a normal summon...

tengus are at 2... also, if they were 3 , there would be no point running something else :P

Additional Comment:

updating and bumping... decided to remove the black&white dragon and returned to my original build!

I believe so too... Although i want to make this deck as competative as possible so i can go to locals and as it is now it cant acomplish that :/

Additional Comment:

Bumping and editing:

I end up cutting Tuning coz while i dont focus getting quasar out i dont need to have that quickdraw in my hand... After testing i notice that if i want to continue playing as a controlish/beat deck i might end up removing quickdraw for another Junk Synchron ... I might need some advice here though!

We´re in the same league man.
Since the day Debris was shot to 1, my variant with the Tao duo was crushed down.
Looks like your deck is a Synchro Stun build like the Sept. 2012 Plant Synchro, I recommend you to run a Spirit Reaper with Caius the Shadow Monarch.
