Default Dragunity Deck September 2013

This is what I have been playing with for the past year. I had to make very minute adjustments because of the September 2013 ban list, but I still think it works. No major cards were taken out of the equation. Would love any advice you have on changes for the main deck, and I still have yet to create a side deck, so that would be very helpful as well. Thanks.

Monsters:
1x Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
2x Dragunity Arma Leyvaten
2x Dragunity Arma Mystletainn
3x Dragunity Dux
1x Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite
2x Dragunity Legionnaire
2x Dragunity Aklys
3x Dragunity Phalanx
2x Dragunity Brandistock

Spells:
3x Dragon Ravine
3x Terraforming
2x Mystical Space Typhoon
2x Cards of Consonance

Traps:
3x Breakthrough Skill
2x Mirror Force
1x Bottomless Trap Hole
1x Compulsory Evacuation Device
1x Dark Bribe
1x Fiendish Chain
1x Solemn Warning

Extra Deck:
3x Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana
1x Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg
1x Dragunity Knight - Gae Bulg
1x Trident Dragion
2x Stardust Dragon
1x Scrap Dragon
1x Crimson Blader
1x Colossal Fighter
1x Ally of Justice Catastor
1x Gaia Dragon, the Thunder Charger
1x Hieratic Dragon King of Atum

Side Deck:
2x Effect Veiler

Strategy 1: Bring out Trident Dragion, destroy two cards on my field, and attack for 9000. This would be a begging of game tactic, as hopefully they don't have a Mirror Force on their field. I realize this is just luck, but that's how I like to play.

Strategy 2: Bring out Vajrayana and equip with Aklys, then detach and destroy either monster or facedown card, and attack for 3800. Probably what I always get first turn into the duel.

Strategy 3: Get out Leyvaten and equip with Brandistock, and attack for 5200. Easy enough, although I loose one of my Dragunity cards in the process.

Any feedback or more strategies for this deck would be amazing. Haven't gone to a tournament with it yet, but there aren't too many around where I live. I use this deck at school, and I have only lost once during the course of about 15 duels. However, my opponents are using Hero decks and Peten the Dark Clown decks, so there isn't really much to contend with. Thanks again.

I don't think he knows...

The decklist is quite terrible.. You will lose consistently to heavy trap/control decks. Not counting their veilers yet.
Add 2-3 Forbidden Lances.

Why no Tempest?
I prefer using the Baby Roc + Garuda build. Being able to lockdown your opponent at turn 1.

Search "insane dragunity combo" or I think that's what it was called.
He explains how it works. After you understand what Dragunities can really do, modify it abit to your liking.

I will go in order for the replies. Don't really know what you mean by Dragunity combos. I play a specific way, mainly to get trident or vajrayana out with an aklys equipped. I could run tempest, but I like to run a pure Dragunity. I will try adding the Tempests and the Forbidden Lances. Brandistock is for Levyaten, Gae Bulg is not that bad, however, I do see your point. Arma Leyvaten is specifically for Trident Dragion, but I will try to limit it to one and see if it still works.

Additional Comment:

grimmiean, just looked at the deck list. It looks fun, and I will try and alter my deck for that. What would you think about taking out an Mystical Space Typhoon and putting in another Royal Decree from the combo video list?

Personally I prefer the MSTs . But if you like Royal Decree, go on and use it, ad side the MSTs.. Play according to the meta at your locals.
Another tech card to use in Dragunities would be Breakthrough Skill.
Being able to lock things like TKRO, Doomcaliber, Laggias, Dolkkas, Pleiades, and Bounzers too.
Very useful card. Give it a try

Btw, add 2 Tempest and a Gold Sarcophagus just to add consistency. You will be able to get the combo going more consistently by searching Phalanx to pitch for ravine or adding a mystletainn
