Bear is a must if u run 3 tenkis. The guy can help u yo get rid off problematics monsters and help u speed the deck, I don't see how he's trash

When I tried Bear he didn't speed up the deck at all, it was the opposite. To pop a monster every once in a while is fun but, to me, it slows down the flow of the deck, the X-Saber stuff you know.

Hello, there. As fellow members of the red cape community, I wanted to ask your opinions on a Saber variant I made.
Here's the thread. http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=1171470
I'd appreciate it if you could help me improve the deck while retaining the deck concept. Thanks a lot in advance!

Ok, know wat ur saying but im just trying to advice tht if u run 3 tenkis the single copy of bear won't hurt u.

From my own testing bear has works wonders for me could use it to pop a monster and then search for the tenkis and speed up my deck

Alright, what must one do for a build with Regi and Palo? I'm not exactly familiar with Sabers and now need to come up with something quickly.

Not sure about Palo, but if one would be crazy enough to find a build being able to play 3 Regis, Creature Swap would become quite the interesting choice.

Summoning Regi is a +1, offsetting the -1 from Creature Swap, and then Regiruga makes an amazing attack target. Emmersblade is another great Swap Target of course.

Yeah but someone's going for the Gottoms/Faultroll/Regi hand loop which for the life of me I can't think of anyway to make any sort of consistent.

Yep. Gottoms ditch Regi and Troll, use second Troll to SS Regi, get first troll back and SS him, repeat.

The hand loop is devastating when pulled off, but most of the time I have no trouble discarding my opponent's entire hand without it. I do like the option though.

X-Sabers shouldn't aim for hand loops, it hurts consistency too much. X-Sabers are not wind ups with 3 boats and hunter.

Additional Comment:

As for bear talk. I run one copy of him in the side for Evilswarm matchup, nothing more. He has little synergy with the deck outside of tenki.

Well unfortunately I can't exactly suggest a standard build right now, so I'll have to make due with the hand loop.

Standard builds can do the hand loop, all you need is to main a copy of ragigura. Now don't expect to play for the hand loop. Although you might be surprised at the amount of times the play is available.

Even without the hand loop i really like regi. Lots of my combos end with m7 returning boggart to my hand and 1 darksoul search which ill use to get regi. This way if my opponent gets rid of my field ill still have a big play to make next turn with boggart+regi and faultroll in the grave.

This is the real reason ragi is good. The hand loop was always a cherry on top. By the way there are even more combos with Ragi and now ragi and m7 that put out ridiculous fields with minor setup.

Well I'm not the one playing the deck, hence my glibness. They want it to be the highlight.

Yea I'm still learning the deck but so far I feel like ragi is really important and I would feel like I'm losing a lot by not playing him. I've also found that having him in the deck makes faultroll a little easier to support with emmersblade.

Tell your friend to play triple faultroll and double ragi with One for One. Everything else exactly like a regular x-saber build. Tell him this is the hand loop deck, he wont even notice its standard when he's doing hand loops.

Redox can also help with Ragi plays

X-Sabers are currently undefeated in Atlanta even Billy Brake lost to them. Highlight of the deck:

> Saber Hole
> Saber Hole being a better Black Horn of Heaven
> Me feeling like an idiot right now.
