Your ratio of Ophion to Beetle should be 2:2, not 3:1. You're missing Daigusto Emeral in your extra. You could also make use of a Photon Papilloperative and King of the Feral Imps by ditching the second Bahamut and filling up the empty Extra slot.

With Konami hitting so many general traps, I'm not sure if running one of each is the best course of action. Time will tell, I guess.

Daigusto Emeral is no longer necessary since Rabbit will be @ 1. But Yea 2:2 for Ophion and Number 66. 1 Bahamut is All you need and Add both Imp or Photon Papi, King Feral Imp Preferably.

Yeah I messed up on the extra deck. Key Beetle was suppose to be at 2. That's why there was an empty slot. I'll take out the second Ophion for Diagusto. Traps wise, I wasn't sure either so I just added them in. They're still good cards. We'll see.

A mini-Pot of Avarice is always necessary, regardless of Rabbit. Its general recycling, ability to draw, and to even pop a Heliotrope out of the grave whenever you want is still pretty valuable.

Fiendish Chain is not anywhere near enough effect negation. Telling him to take out BTS and only relying on Chains is not a great suggestion. He needs either two Veilers or two BTS at least.

He doesn't 'need' that much effect negation. There are better cards to run than effect negation.

If Fiendish Chain worked the same as Veiler/BTS, then I would agree. However, slower format or not, Chain is just too slow and too easy to play around. You also have to remember that it seems like we're heading back into MST being mained in most decks. So, Fiendish Chain is even less useful as effect negation than it was last format.

I never said he had to run Chain. He can run Veiler and BTS instead if he wants. More effect negation is a waste of space.

Debatable. I still think Verz has a tremendous weakness to monster effects. With the lack of staple traps to deal with monsters, I think the deck may be more vulnerable than ever. We'll see, though.

In my experience I value 1 Veiler and 1 Allure over the additional 2 Chains, BTS is better than Chain this format imo because of how many people main deck 3 MST

Allure is bad. And your saying for him to run a trap over a trap, because of MST?

Is the rabbit at 1 worth playing? Having 3 normal monsters with 1 rabbit doesn't seem like a good idea

Additional Comment:

-1 Infestation Infection
+1 Eradicator Epidemic Virus

Yes Rabbit at one with three normals is fine. And no, Infection is way better than EEV. Keep EEV sided.

I guess its just personal preference, I never liked infection. Have you considered Xyz Reborn?
