Default Gogogo Golem - Golden Form

Quote:

Level 4/Rock/0/1500

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 "Gogogo" monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card's ATK is equal to double the Tributed monster's original ATK. Battle damage inflicted to your opponent by this card is halved. Once per turn, when a monster effect is activated on your opponent's side of the field: This card loses exactly 1500 ATK and that effect is negated.

it is decent, it is a fairly easy to summon 3600/3800/4000 beatstick which can negate effects and still have a fairly hefty 2100/2300/2500 attack

I agree

Is it amazing? No but it's a nifty card.

Might throw 2 in my gogogo zombies

Wish you could special summon it from the hand by just controlling a gogogo monster. That'd be swarming to the max! XD

The thing that's a bit disappointing is that it only works on the field.
So E-Dragons and such can still go off

The card.... kinda sucks... the battle damage half kills it.

It's main use is to destroy crap by battle... that is SOOOooo 2004

The effect negation is lackluster.

Oh ****, my effect has been negated. Well, I can still run it over.

It's the freaking GOLDEN FORM.
Who care if it's suck,it wasn't made to be good in the first place.
It wasn't even a real card in the anime.
It's more a reference than anything else.

I think it's playable.

If you get 3 L4s on the field (not that hard in Gogogo Zombies), then tribute a Gogogo to bring this out, then rank 4 something, you can run over whatever your opponent has then negate his Big Eye the next turn.

Though in this scenario I'd rather just have a Veiler in hand to do the same thing =/

Meh. Artwork is legit but it does nothing for the deck at all.

Well, it's a fairly easily summonable 4000 beat stick... crash with Quasar/Obelisk? :\

Uhhh... actually this is pretty ok. Dunno if itll see play, but its fairly good. Locking out monster effects with a beatstick is nothing to scoff at. If you protect it, you can suffocate a lot of decks.

Wait...If they made this...What if they do...Utopia Mars next?

Additional Comment:

And I slowly realize that this card is...the strongest Level 4 monster in the game when it gets its boosted ATK.

Used with gigas, you revive gigas right back for free and get another means of going into rank 4's, giving you something to do with in hand gigas.

Each other gogogo gives you a double effect negator, with ghost and giant forms able to still tank a hit from L&DD if they both have negated once.

Utopia Golden Form, can be Xyz Summoned straight from the extra deck using Utopia Xyz you control.

Oh wait, we already have that.

Seems like a pretty cool card. Kind of like a strike bounzer but weakens itself and is super easy to summon.
