Default Inzektors are now Tier 3...wtf?

How are Inzektors a Tier 3 deck now?

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh!_Tier_List

Should I consider a new deck? I still do fairly well, but apparently 90% of decks I'll play from here on out should do better than mine. What would be the cheapest Tier 1 deck to build?

Also, any idea WHY it went down to Tier 3? I can't imagine Sangan being banned would take it down 2 whole tiers.

Mermails are too fast.

The tier system is dumb anyway. If the deck works for you, then it shouldn't matter what its rank is in some arbitrary system that doesn't matter.

The is one of the worst tier lists I've ever seen. Scrap before Infernity for 2009-2010. Plants tier 2 for 2010-2011. Evilswarm not even mentioned and Chain Burn +Anti-meta at tier 2 for 2012-2013. Ignore everything that list says. Inzektors are competitive but they are very slow and luck reliant.

The main problem with Inzektors is lack of consistency. If you don't draw into your pieces early on, then you'll lose. If you do, you stand a very good chance of winning.

So the issue for Inzektors is what engine to run to make them consistent enough to remain competitive. Unfortunately, a solid one hasn't been found it, but there's lots of choices: imitation; Trooper; Hanzo; Tomato/AKnight; Monk/AKnight/Chain. Plus the stun build.

Pick one you like and see how it works for you. They're Tier 2 IMO (if we use the Tier system), and definitely have the power to surprise opponents.

This is a ridiculous thread.
1) It's a Tier List on Yugioh Wikia...come on...
2) You play the deck, and say you do good with it, yet you still believe this list actually makes sense.

Well, lesson learned. Apparently I shouldn't trust Yugioh Wiki's thoughts on much of anything.

Thanks guys, it's reassuring to know my deck didn't mysteriously go to **** without me noticing.

I wouldn't say don't trust the wiki, just take everything with a grain of salt.

Because they're slow, luck-reliant, and don't have much power... Well, at least against decks I've dueled. I've never lost to an Inzektor deck.

Interesting, I tend to win most my games. They can be fast of they open right, when they draw what they need they explode, and when they have those pieces they're very powerful. Consistency is the main issue.

I win a lot with Inzektor, especially with the build I currently use.

They're a solid tier 2 deck with the correct build.

I'm not even gonna ask why the hell Geargia is tier 1.

Here is the list of each type of Decks used in official tournaments and actual metagame. The tier list order does not follow official statistics. They are established following the agreements of players and community and are subject to debate.

this......

Um.. You seriously thought that a Wiki was reliable? Anyone can post random **** on there like Wikipedia. Anyways like many of them said, it's tier 2. But you can tell that who ever made that is ******ed because they put Geargia as Tier 1 trololol. They even put Blackwings, Chain Burn, Gravekeepers, and Glad Beasts at Tier 2 when they are Tier 3.

dude, **** the wikia. I play Inzektors and they're easily a solid tier 2 deck. half the decks they posted as tier 2 should even be considered a tier. and the tier 1 geargia? show me how they're tier one. I've had success with inzektors and i don't think they're tier 3... at all

Tinplate Goldfish is awful in Geargia :I

Why doesn't anyone understand this? It doesn't /do/ anything for the deck. It's at its best in Gadgets.

I was thinking of Machina-Gadgets with Tinplate Goldfish, Kagetokage, and King Feral Imp, my bad.

I do understand this, but for some reason my brain didn't register that they were 2 different decks lol.
