I'm definitely contemplating maining Mind Crush next format because of all the search cards. It will work against almost any deck except for Rabbit. You can even use it to shut down the occasional people trying to bring back Demise and Herald.

Mind Crush is an awesome card! If your opponent is a shark and playing karakuri... well... lol

"Ummm... Karakuri MDL... uh... 8945332?"
"No. Discard a card"

RAGEEE. lol

And it's also usable whenever you can deduce what they have in their hand. It's a good card that requires careful play to reach its full potential.

^Lol, I had something similar using Prohibition against that Ancient Gear Dragon Gajiddjgfkbfs... well my opponent was nice enough to let me through with it.

Mind Crush in my side for sure, need something for dem nasty Fire Fist, Prophecy and Mermails. With eventually more Samurais and Blackwings running around it could also be decent against them and sheesh, it's just too versatile, against Agents and even Dark World, yes, Dark World. Just read it right and declare their spells.

It doesn't work like that as long as you can describe it like for example the karakuri that let's you normal summon again

If they check there graveyard and you call reborn then they rage

Also what happens if they say remove light and dark is it too late to guess?

most often when they look through their grave for reborn targets they have general priority, so unless they for some reason play anything else before activating the reborn, you wont be able to prevent it with Mind Crush anymore.

Mind Crush isn't effective against Agents and Chaos Dragon due to the fact they barely search and all you would be doing is setting up their graveyard for them unless you have Dimensional Fissure/Macro Cosmos on the field.

I'll be testing it out in the side for sure. It's too good against Duality. You lose your card and you can't SS this turn.

Plus with the variety of themed searching cards out there. Worth the testing at least.

Now the question that remains is:

How many Mind Crush are you guys going to side? It's unlimited now afterall.

play Mind Crush at 3 in the side, helps out against every deck of the format.

droll and lock bird is still a terrible card because they still search the one card they need.

i would still have maxx c sided or something else like puppet plants and Electric Virus.

I feel it'll be ran at 3 in the side for the coming format. Good against Spellbook/Prophecy, Sams (to an extent), Merlantians, and rouges

What do u mean Sams too an extent, you have Mind Crush set -

they summon Kageki Call Kagemusha - no shien
they activate gateways search ability call their search
they use one of the three smoke signals they'll be using - call the search

Thats three pretty frequent occurrences in six sam decks

Let me get this right.
I open 3 Mind Crush.
Opponent has Salvage, Megalo, whatever, Genex Controller, Heavy Storm, Abyssphere.

He reveals Megalo.
I activate MC#1, ask for response, activate MC#2, ask for reponse, activate MC#3. MC#3 call Megalo. Megalo is discarded. I ask to verify hand to see if he did discard all available Megalo. Opponent flashes his hand. I see his cards. I proceed to resolve MC#2 and call Salvage. Resolve MC#1 call Abyssphere.

Megalo's discards now resolve if they have any discard effect.

You name card at activation, so that doesn't quite work.

Thanks for clearing that up.
So you have to let it resolve for it to use the other two then.
The first one is the one that matters anyway since by the time you activate the other two you can just call whats left.
