Default How to make a competitive Pokemon deck?

I have a few questions so here we go

What are the top decks?
How do I make one of these decks?
How much do they cost?
Is there a banlist in Pokemon?

Thanks for the help.

The top three decks coming out of Regionals are:

Rayquaza/Eelektrik
Darkrai EX/Sableye/Hammers
Mewtwo EX/Eelektrik

Big basic EX's still rule the format so go with them and a skeleton trainer list of:

4x Professor Juniper
3x N
2x Bianca
2x Random Receiver
2x Ultra Ball
3x Switch
4x Pokémon Catcher
2x Tool Scrapper

There's a new set coming out this weekend so take a look at { http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wi...ssed_%28TCG%29 }

That's because there not, I was bored yesterday and visited this old site.

There are much better sites for tournament caliber deck building but I would bet the mods would jump all over me if I added there names.

as it was not really answered - there is not a banlist in pokemon. We cycle somewhat similar to that of MtG (save we only do it once a year, and in some cases not at all - which is rare).

Currently we are B&W on. We usually have our cycle begin in September if I recall right.

Zekeels should be buildable from the available Theme Decks plus some of the Tins.

Darkrai is also easy to build... And better than zekeels.
But everything needs 4 catchers anyways, so every deck costs $60+.

Like 1500 of these views are YGO players that just click on it while just lurking around pokemon boards...

Pojo is not a popular Pokemon forum.
