Default Some Ideas for Decks with Clockwork Shikigami/Gearspring Spirit?

Here's a skeleton for a possible Geargia Machina deck, once Clockwork Shikigami/Gearspring Spirit comes to the TCG.

I tried to look around for some OCG inspiration, but I couldn't find anything. Seems to me that it's natural for someone to make something like this:

Deus Ex Geargia Machina (40)

Monsters (25)
GEARGIA
3 Geargiarmor
3 Geargiaccelerator
3 Geargiarsenal
1 Geargiano
MACHINA
3 Machina Gearframe
3 Machina Fortress
3 Machina Cannon
SUPPORT
3 Clockwork Shikigami
DEFENSE
1 Gorz
2 Tragoedia

Spells (14)
1 Monster Reborn
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
3 MST
3 Night Beam/ Forbidden Lance
1 Pot of Avarice
1 Limiter Removal
3 Trade-In

Traps (1)
1 Treacherous Trap Hole

- Well, one of the obvious cons of the deck is that Maxx c and Effect Veiler are not splashable. They prevent you from getting the added versatility of Shikigami's effect, even though he can still be used as discard fodder for Trade-In and Machina Fortress. Then again, there really aren't any other good level 8 machines out there, so maybe using him just as discard fodder is enough to warrant his inclusion in the deck.

- The key idea here is to empower Fortress and make Trade-In live. With 3 x Cannon and 3 x Clockwork, you have 6 targets for Trade-In. Plus, Gearframe can instantly add a level 8 monster to your hand, making the probability of successfully using Trade-In much higher than usual. Also, notice that the "pro ratio" for Fortress to Cannon is 2 x Fortress, 1 x Cannon. With all the level 8's you're running, you don't have to worry about "wasting" a monster that could potentially help you revive a fallen Fortress. After all, you have many more targets than most Machina decks have.

- One of the few downsides to Geargia decks is that Gigant X has relatively low attack power. Clockwork solves that problem. Go for advantage with Gigant x, then special summon Clockwork and run over whatever monster Gigant X couldn't get over.

- With Trago, Gorz, Clockwork, Fortress and Cannon, you have easy access to level 7 and level 8 XYZ monsters. Big Eye, Hieratic Sun Dragon and Gimmick Puppet will see a lot of play.

As usual, all comments/suggestions/harsh, fiery criticism welcome. In fact, please post other potential Clockwork deck builds/ideas. Peace.

how well has this been testing?
i like the idea a lot though

Additional Comment:

also with 5 dark targets have you thought about allure?

Additional Comment:

also instead of Night Beam maybe try Nobleman of Extermination, same effect almost but if you hit a trap then it banishes it along with any of the same name from the deck. and since you dont run any traps except treacherous, you have practically nothing to fear

^ 2 very good ideas. thanks for that. if Trade-In is justified by having 6 targets, i suppose allure should be too. after all, once clockwork or cannon hits the grave, they're not gonna be used again. so banishing them should not be an issue. great idea. can't argue with that. the only advantage with Trade-In is that gearframe can instantly add a proper target to hand.

Nobleman of Extermination is also pretty cool. it might be a better game 1 choice than Night Beam or lance. once i realize my opponent is playing chainable face-downs like compulsory, lance or Gemini Spark, then i throw in Night Beam. of course, the downside to nobleman is that my opponnetgets to see my entire deck, whereas i often don't get to see his deck.

now, in testing so far, i find that i could really use some hand traps. specifically, veiler could be really useful. i'm thinking of an ocg variant that includes 3 x veiler and remedies the conflict with clockwork by including daigusto emeral in the extra to send discarded copies of veiler back to the deck.

^ as i've said quite a few times on this site before, i am not against copying/netdecking. if one copies a deck, without attempting to improve the deck and/or without attempting to adjust the deck in order to fit one's style and/or without adapting the deck to a particular meta, then one is bound to fail.

there's no need to disrespect, for example, a weak player for using a copied deck. he'll eventually lose out due to a combination of bad plays and stagnant deck-building anyway.

people on pojo like to debate maxx c vs. veiler. it's a pretty meaningless thing to debate. it all depends on your meta. if everyone at your locals spam summon, main 3 x maxx c. if not, adjust accordingly.

anyway, here's the ocg build i've been trying out:

Deus Ex Geargia Machina (OCG; 40 cards)

Monsters (28)
GEARGIA
3 Geargiarmor
3 Geargiaccelerator
3 Geargiarsenal
1 Geargiano
MACHINA
3 Machina Gearframe
3 Machina Fortress
3 Machina Cannon
SUPPORT
3 Clockwork Shikigami
DEFENSE
1 Gorz
2 Tragoedia
3 Effect Veiler

Spells (12)
1 Monster Reborn
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
3 MST
2 Night Beam
1 Pot of Avarice
3 Trade-In

Extra
1 Daigusto Emeral
1 Lavalval Chain
3 Gear Gigant X
1 Number 16: Shock Master
1 Number 11: Big Eye
1 Vylon Disigma
1 Fairy King Albverdich
1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn
1 Number 39: Utopia
1 Number 50: Blackship of Corn
1 Photon Papilloperative
1 Number 15: Gimmixk Puppet - Giant Killer
1 Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis
