Default The Seal of Orichalcos vs another Field Spell

If Seal of Orichalcos is currently on the field, and either I or an opponent activates another Field Spell, is Seal "destroyed" or protected by its "Once per turn: cannot be destroyed by card effects"?

A card effect is the effect of a card. Which card in your scenario has an effect that will destroy the Seal?

he's not asking about a card effect he's just confused or misread it because he's thinking that activating another field spell when one is face up is considered destroying a card effect

simply put his question is can you play another field spell over the seal?

That's the point I'm making. If he thinks the Seal is being destroyed by a card effect in his scenario, then which card has that effect?

Seal is being destroyed by a Game Mechanic, not a Card Effect; therefore, it can be "destroyed" in this scenario.

Yes it dies by Game Mechanic. I made a thread about this a few days ago because some ******ed idiot didn't believe me, and called me a bad player over it.
