Dino Rabbit - September 2012
http://i.imgur.com/0lgIY.png
I need some help in deciding upon a few things.
1.) Thoughts on the side deck?
2.) Thoughts on the trap lineup? I want to drop the Fiendish Chain but am not a fan of a 2nd Compulsory/2nd Torrential or Mirror Force. Chain is good vs Wind Ups, Samurai, and Geargia. However, it sucks vs Dark World(most played IMO) and heros.
3.) Any other improvements you folks can suggest to me.
Thanks to all that post, no troll posts, and please back up your thoughts with rational explanation/example(s) of scenarios, and proper logic.

I'd consider testing the pair of them. Suggestions on what to drop?

Triple Veiler main won't be necessary under that new list. Also how about them Jurrac Guaibas?

I think the veiler is in there for BLS food. Personally I don't think he needs tour bus and I don't like the double reaper mained.
So keeping that in mind,
-2 Spirit Reaper
-1 Tour bus
-1 Mirror Force
-1 MST
+3 Guaiba
+2 Duality
Also, I think you should drop Bls, and in turn drop a veiler. In their place you could put Mirror Force back in (At two, this is a September build right?) Or put in one Mirror Force and a Forbidden Lance.

This is for the September format, not the format we're in currently. Besides, Gold Sarcophagus is really slow so it's not worth using.

Saitoshi's 99% confirmed list. Most yugitubers agree on it, but we'll never know till sept.

It's situational because the consistency of Dino Rabbit has been hit, and you're not getting your combo pieces as fast. (TGU and Rescue Rabbit)

Do not run a third Fiend monster. It creates inconsistency. You only get Tour guides effect once. You can either search Sangan or go for leviair plays. Deal with it. Also 3 Effect Veiler won't be needed next format. It wasn't even needed for Rabbit this format. You also definately need 3 Jurrac Guiba to make dropping Evolzars more consistent. I'd also add Neo-Spacian Grand Mole to deal with big monsters.
tldr;
-1 Tour Bus from the underworld
-3 Effect Veiler
+3 Jurrac Guiba
+1 Neo Spaciann grand mole

I would drop the 2 Dimensional Prison and swap them with Pot of Duality.
Otherwise it looks pretty good to me and it shouldn't really have any consistency issues, it may possibly be a little slower than before but otherwise it's about right.

Einsam_Delphin: Yes, I'll try out the Guibas.
PirateZach: Will test a few of those, thanks.
iRenzo: I prefer two. Was just testing 3 for Spellbooks and all that.
T-REX: Not dropping the prisons, will find something else for the dualitys.

I like where you're going with your list. Here's mine for reference (haven't really had a chance to test anything, a bit busy):
3x Guiaba
2x Rabbit
2x Tour Guide
1x Sagan
1x Gorz
2x Veiler
3x Saber
3x Kaba
3x MST
3x Lance
1x Heavy
1x Dark Hole
1x Monster Reborn
1x Avarice
1x Book of Moon
2x Soul Taker
2x Warning
2x D-prison
2x Torrential
2x Compulsory
1x Starlight
1x Judgment
1x Mirror Force
Few quick notes (I haven't fixed my list yet):
- If the list floating around is the correct list, then I think we'll have to worry about:
* Mirror match
* Heroes
* Gadgets
* Six Sam
Maybe a few others; With this in mind, I think we've gotten to a point of where 3 mained veilers isn't needed anymore. Personally, I won't main any less than 2 copies of it, but that's just me. Moving on, we need to ensure we can get past/over their big monsters (and between the decks listed above, we have our work cut out for us).
I know I need to find room for 2 Bottomless, but looking past that, maybe even taking some help from the past, and maining a single copy of Snowman Eater or Spirit Reaper is in order. That's all I really have for now... Ooh a few quick notes:
* I've tested the Hanzo build quite a bit; I'm not really a fan of it.
* While we may have lost SOME consistency, I have yet to really find any problems going to 2 rabbits, etc. I did give Gold Sarc the old college try, but came to the conclusion, like many others, that it's a tad too slow. However it did come in handy, so I'd test it if I were you.
Just my 2 cents - I'll keep my list updated so we can compare if you'd like. I plan on playing Rabbit at our regional here - believe it's Sept. 1.

If he wanted to run Hanzo in his deck then he would have made the title of the deck Hanzo rabbit.

Deck that has topped consistently vs deck that hasn't done anything?
I have no idea why.
