Default Offical Gagaga Archetype Discussion Part I - Ga-Ga-Ga Oh-la-la!

Ignoring the joke above, thanks to the release of Abyss Rising with Kaiser and Guman in hand, the Gagaga theme has now expanded with new tactics for quicker Xyz plays and such, though...what are the Gagaga as a whole, one may ask? What are they are able to do together in a deck? This thread is here to discuss all as well as possible builds with each Gagaga card, so crank up the tunes 'cause here is the lineup!

Note = To briefly summarize, the Gagagas are composed of two DARK Spellcaster-Type monsters and three EARTH Warrior-Type monsters, supported by an array of Spell and Trap Cards.

The All-Stars
Gagaga Magician
The card that started it all; First released in Generation Force and in the anime as protagonist Yuma Tsukumo's chief Spellcaster, Magician has an ability to make up for its rather low stats - being able to alter its usual Level (4) to anything ranging from 1 to 8. That easily makes it an ace for Xyz Summoning but also useful for cards that required a certain Level for use. However sadly Magician cannot be used for Synchros, if not given that clause, would have given Synchro decks a mad boost. In a 'pure' Gagaga deck, run 3 to the max.

Gagaga Girl (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagaga_Girl)
If Magician is meant to be the Dark Magician then it was obvious that he would get a Dark Magician Girl...which he DID when Order of Chaos was released and Gagaga Girl came into the light. Let's see the requirements...Cute-looking? Check. Lower stats than original? Check. Awesome effect to go with original? CHECK. Gagaga Girl can match the Level of Magician while he is in play and when used for an Xyz with another Gagaga, she can turn the opponent's Special Summoned strong beatstick to a 0-ATK wimp. For me, running 2-3 of this lovely lady is fine in my books.

Gagaga Gardna (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagaga_Gardna)
A recent newcomer to our shores thanks to Galactic Overlord, Gardna was the first Gagaga to be an EARTH Warrior in place of DARK Spellcaster and was made to the Big Shield Gardna for the theme. He bears the great 2000 DEF which makes him ideal to stand toe-to-toe with most other monsters for the time and can avoid destruction by damage by discarding 1 card per turn. The ability to Special Summon from the hand when the opponent makes for a direct attack is nice though not a real game-changer at times. For me, I would run 1-2.

Gagaga Kaiser (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagaga_Kaiser)
The 1st of 2 Gagaga monsters in Abyss Rising; Kaiser bears a decent ATK of 1800 so he can deal with some annoyances however without another Gagaga in play, he cannot do so. However in spite of this clause, he has the ability to banish any monster in your Grave to grant other Gagagas that monster's Level so Gardna can have another use. Like Girl and Magician before, he cannot be used for a Synchro so...run 1-2.

Gagaga Guman (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagaga_Gunman)
The 2nd Gagaga from ABYR and the 1st Xyz for the theme; he is the 1st to have the ability to activate a different effect depending on what position he is in (much like the Morphtronics from the 5D's era). His ATK stat of 1500 ain't much until he goes into battle with an ability like the fabled Hope Ray though he gains 1000 ATK while his target only loses 500. His 2400 DEF is much to be praised along with the DEF ability of giving your opponent 800 damage. Overall, he is an interesting member and should not be overlooked. Run 2-3.

Special Effects
Gagagaback (Spell) (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagagaback)
A weaker take of Rekindling for Gagagas; Back triggers upon the destruction of a Gagaga monster in battle and swarms the field with monsters from the Grave that were destroyed that turn. While it is nice that it is a Quick-Play, however, the player must take 600 damage for each monster and each one has to be in face-up DEF Position so it has some use, I would not say to play it much. On that note, I would run 0-1 in a deck.

Gagagabolt (Spell) (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagagabolt)
A REALLY fun card *kukuku~* Able to break any card in play just as long as you have a face-up Gagaga, this is a fun tool to have on hand. If only it was a Quick-Play...Run 3 MAX.

Gagagarevenge (Spell) (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagagarevenge)
An Equip Monster Reborn that grants a boost to any Xyz that overlays the equipped monster; I rather prefer it over Back in a way. Simply, just run 2-3.

Gagagaguard (Trap) (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagagaguard)
The Gagaga Waboku; while it has that fun effect of no destruction what-so-ever, however the requirement for it to play it is a tad iffy for me. I would prefer Waboku over it personally but if run, do 0-1 copies.

Gagagarush (Trap) (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gagagarush)
The 2nd best card for the theme, this one negates the activation of any monster that targets a Gagaga and destroys it. That seems decent with the first part but HOWEVER...The second act is the doozy~ When that monster is gone, the opponent takes damage equal to either whatever stat was highest (ATK or DEF). So cards like Snowman Eater, Ryko and all ya others...eat your heart. Run 2-3.

Co-Stars
Goblindbergh =Does this mean an explanation? It just helps bring in the Xyz very easily. Run 3, no joke.
Dododo Warrior (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Dododo_Warrior) = The ideal Level 6 thanks to its ability to played without Tribute. Though it gains a weaker ATK because of that, its overall ability can easily halt the likes of Necro Gardna and such in their tracks make it simply fun. Run 2-3.
Pot of Avarice
Double Summon/Ultimate Offering = An additional Normal Summon? Yes please! Though Offering requires you to pay Life Points for its use, both are still useful for Xyzing thus are welcomed. Personally for me, I'll go for 3 tops.
Waboku = Generic anti-Battle Damage and battle destruction, more suitable than Gagagaguard. However, how many ya run is up to you.
Xyz Soul (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Xyz_Soul)
Xyz Reborn (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Xyz_Reborn)

Note = An example of a great victory with this deck: http://imgur.com/ICKAF

Any thoughts/comments?
