There are very few players with maturity, but there are even less players who can build a deck, know how to read and know even simply rulings. Dueling Network is the perfect example of players who don't know how to read or know the GAME.
Where is there maturity when many players netdeck or run the same deck as other players? Many players have the attitude that they should win simply, because of the deck the are running. In addition, players who netdeck or run the same deck as other players also take advantage of other players during a trade or simply take cards from other players when they can.
It does depend on the location, but certain locations are filled with players who simply netdeck or run the same deck as other players. Many times, these players simply act imature after they lose throwing a fit, using inapropriate language and sometimes even threatening to physically hurt their opponent outside.
New players are in the process of learning while players who netdeck or run the same deck as other players are imature.

Do you ever talk about anything else besides netdecking?

But that's why the game comes with instructions on how to play. 13 yr old kids aren't that brain-dead (assuming I see so many of them with 3DS, I-Pads and smartphones) Seriously, these parents need to do the research into the game. If your kid cannot or refuses to do the minimum work necessary or has the correct mindset to play the game correctly, don't buy the game.

When I was 13, I was mature... I knew the state of the game... my deck had 40 cards... and I went online and studied up on rulings. Kids these days are awful--but you'll never hear their parents take the blame. It's just like how parents complain that McDonald's makes their kids fat, when the parents bring them there, the parents ask their kids want they want, and the parents go up to the register and pay for it.

This is the reason I love all these reprints, all those damaged "profit margins".

The reason I love reprints I love some of my cards more than others and rather play with commons.
However this implies if it there in the world.

This game is infamous for obvious reasons but I feel that if I do my part... It can eventually get better.

I am not either but I did gave some of my extra synchros away. I look for some tuners generics so he can build some of his deck.
I wouldn't let him win but help him with the game. Most people lack the maturity and will make fun of him. Now isn't that childish now Grown people acting like schoolyard bullies on the internet.

Grown, and I use the term quite lossely, act like that everywhere. I've been nick'd "The Pariah" at one shop because I don't join in on that kind of crap, and even slapped one of them for berating a seven year old girl until she started crying.
I'm always giving away free cards, especially the tins promos, and make very easy trades, am always willing to help, and willing to help people playtest, etc.

Im 12, and Im very mature. I have A Yu-Gi-Oh team of very mature people. We play adults and such and we dont moan groan or cry when we lose. We laugh it off, then play each other or joke around.
I am so sad that a 13 year old broke down crying. But then again, I cried alot when i was younger.
ALOT.
But the way he was acting was stupid.

LadyKagome is god. Why can't there be more people like you.
On topic, alot of kids don't know how to play the game or are mature enough to accept a loss. It's a sad reality.

Most of the players will play and teach the younger ones outside tourneys. It is different when an older player who is an adult makes a kid cry. When a kid cries about an loss that lack of maturity on their part. However they also idolize umm Jaden Yugi as topnotch duelist and tournaments in real life are not same in a cartoon show.

A lot of kids and adults alike don't know that "a lot" is two words, but I can pardon it at times because, as Hitler was part-Jewish himself, I once spelled "a lot" as one word despite today being the Grammar Hitler we all know and love.
This brings us to our next point: Dark Armed Dragon. DAD. All capital letters. And this brings us to our on-topic point: Mature players say "Reinforcement of the Army" when they search for a warrior. They don't say "RotA".

In my experience, the children are more mature than the adults. In Abilene, everyone's pretty chill, even the meta players, at least the regulars are. At Hatters (from reports) in Lubbock is all good, too, but there are bad seeds in every field, and so nothing is perfect, but the locals I choose to interact with, I try and bring some balance to the player pool, and remove some of the negativity.

Lubbock I guess is not much different than El Paso when comes to the locals. Yeah there are few bad seeds here as well.

There is a thread in the single card discussion about the card Number 69: God Medallion Coat of Arms. Most of the posts in that thread are about the number 69, rather then the card's effect. No, there's no maturity in this game anywhere.

I'm not as confrontational than Miss Kagome but I usually take the victims somewhere and make sure they don't leave my sight without a smile.
It is a policy of mine to make people smile and feel good about themselves, especially when troubled.
It is also something I learned that you cannot ever change the problem (the bullies in Kagome's case) but you can most certainly change the outcome (the little girl in the same example).

In the one time I've been in Lubbock, I enjoyed it. Everyone was fair but there were a few sharks that tried to make a profit from me. I let them because I wanted the cards for my Dark World deck and NO ONE else had them. >___>
