Can some other dude edit your post? I commented on a topic and someone edited MY post. It left a bad taste in my mouth because I feel that just because someone doesn't agree with your opinion they can edit your post? As if your opinion is beneath there's and they think their opinion is factual enough to correct yours. Feels like a dictatorship to me.

Other people can quote you and edit the quotation in their posts, but they cannot go and edit the actual post that was made, if that's what you mean.
