Future Fusion
Do people think this card will be banned? Now, this isn't "it should be banned", but do you honestly think it will? I'm not so sure. It's been a problem card before, yet here it is, still existing. I'm sort of feeling they will hit something else in chaos dragons.
Opinions?

It's a modern day Painful Choice right now. However, with the way the Dragon's Collide is selling, I don't think Konami has any interest in removing it from the game.
That being said, I think Red-Eyes is going to go to two, even though it really should go to one.

Yes it needs to be banned. It's a graveyard dump. It doesn't even help Fusion monsters.

Yes, it will be banned.
It no longer is a revenue source, has been popping up time and time again over the years, is an old card, and is no longer valuable to Konami.
It will go to 0 in September.

If I had to pick only one card, I would hit REDMD bringing it to 1 (edit: most dragon and Hieroglyph decks that top use it at x2), since dragons can top without Future Fusion, I do not think it will be hit since banlist depends mainly on OCG and its not big there, unless they pull a ''tengu''.
https://tcg.konami-europe.net/covera...-32-decklists/
Edit: Also the OP question is; Now, this isn't "it should be banned", but do you honestly think it will?

FF is a win button that needs to go, but Konami has a tendency to be unpredictable.
I feel like a FF ban and REDMD limit is possible for September.

Also, after people finally started siding x3 Dimensional Fissure in the last World Championship Qualifier, there was only 1 Dragon deck in top 16...
Edit: Like I said if there was one card to be hit it will be REDMD to 1, hitting only Future Fusion will not be enough, YCS Toulouse 2012 winner didn't even use Future Fusion...

Future Fusion is a card that screams "Abuse me and win more" it has been used in Chimeratech Overdragon OTK's, Fuels Dragon's for OTK's, helps set up Hero's though not for OTK's, it's design though seemingly balanced is redundant when it becomes 'Dump what you need to win"
Ban it, BAN IT, BAN IT!!!

o-O might as well revive the other gazillion FF threads lulz, cuz this one was not about how people feel about it, its about ''do you realistically think it will be banned'' taking into account that TCG and OCG do not even have separate lists...

OOOOOH!!! SORRY...
I realistically believe that Future Fusion WILL get BANNED come September.
Didn't realise that I couldn't give thoughts at all about how I feel about it...

FF has turned into a card that is being used way beyond what it was ever designed for. When that happens, it's usually banning time.

also lol, notice how I did not even quote your post, its more of a reminder for other people, who just say ban it without a reason, I think its pretty clear with all the previous threads about FF (god knows there were many) that a lot of people want it banned, now I was hoping this thread would be a little different, because the OP focuses on the ''what will/might really happen'' and not ''what people on pojo want''.

There would probably be a lot more FF threads, but sadly there was only one Dragon deck in the World Championship Qualifier Top 16 , god bless Dimensional Fissure at 3.

Yeah, I know what people want. I was curious about the practicality.

All the reasons given so far are the same, nothing new, its not about whether it should be banned or not, its about if it will be banned and what makes you think it will be banned taking into account that the banlist is made in Japan, its not like Dragons won multiple YCS in USA, they only won one single YCS and because they are a good match-up against rabbit, but not as good vs other decks. No single top 4 deck before the WCQ even bothered to side d fissure at 3, maybe if people did not underestimate dragons in 1st place then they would not gotten as much as hate as they did just before the WCQ. Also, go check the other FF threads, if you wanna see how many* people just login to say ''ban it'' without no explanation. If FF was big in Japan, then it would be more prone to getting banned, like I said before dragons might as well just be the flavor of the week, wait till water support from abyss come out with the water SD...

You have to be kidding. Future Fusion has been a problematic card since before Chaos Dragon started getting hype. It's a card that should have been banned back when Chimeratech OTK was big rather than being limited to 1. Don't tell me "No one plays Chimeratech OTK". The point is, OTK's shouldn't exist and Painful Choice is banned for a reason.

O(._.)O omfg /face palm
scroll up, or better go read all my previous posts about FF in the past months, my main point is if there was one card to hit it would have to be REDMD at 1, hitting FF alone would NOT be enough as dragons have topped YCS Toulouse without using FF, now you do understand the word ''nuances'' right? There is a difference between what I want and what I think will happen. I do not care if they ban FF, but that will not stop dragons, they will have to hit REDMD at 1, but logically Konami making the banlist would want to make as less hits as possible with the biggest ''positive'' effects on the game.

Of course REDMD needs to go to 1 as well. But ideally, we know Konami by now and like said, that more likely won't happen.

ppl forget that there is not only REDMD or FF in the world, they might as well hit one of the ''generals'' of Dragon Collide SD, like they did with earth for Agents (then again only because Agents and Agent/tech genus variants were big in OCG), but in this case pulsar and darkflare are more twin semi-boss cards, I would not be surprised if something was done about pulsar, tho its all off topic to the thread.

It didn't get reprinted in Dragon's Collide, which was a pretty obvious place to put it. I can see it being hit, but that alone won't stop Dragons. In fact, I'd rather REDMD go to 1. Both hits would be best, but at least that way if I got rid of it it would be gone until the next game.

I don't think it will be. Konami will hit Light Pulsar or REDMD first.
