I LOVE to read manga, and have amassed a collection of over 1000 volumes.

I also feel that Japanese comics are superior to American comics. In storyline terms, American superhero/mainstream comics have to release their stories in 6-issue arcs for the sake of the Hardcover/TPB. Japanese comics have none of that. Also, because their staff is smaller, the writer is also typically the artist and has greater control over the story.
