Default Book of Moon vs XYZ effects

Well, I have a face up Nuber 11 Big Eye on my side of the field and i activate its effect, I dettach his material and then my opponent chains BoM.
Does my monster still applies it's effect? Or Is it negated?

Book of Moon does not negate anything.

Which Monster was targeted by Book of Moon?

It seems whatever Book of Moon's target was is irrelevant. Book of Moon does not negate or prevent Big Eye's effect from resolving.
