Not gonna be a waste

There is a difference between having fun and completely compromising the consistency of a deck.
So instead you are going to summon Rabbit, summon 2 Sparkman/Clayman, Xyz into something, detach a material, Miracle Fusion into Thunder Giant, discard a card and pop the problematic monster at exactly the right moment you need to because of how situational Thunder Giant is? Why not just ignore everything after Miracle Fusion and deal with the problem by Xyz summoning Black Corn? Chances are it can take out the problem.

I didn't say that. If anything Black Corn is better, not equal. Black Corn is a better option in the scenario of using Rescue Rabbit. The only reason you'd summon either is for the effect since there are better options when going into a Rank 4 or a HERO fusion. Thunder Giant requires specific materials while Black Corn is just any level 4's. While you have slightly fewer options on what to hit with Corn, it is substantially easier to summon, doesn't require dedication and also deals a bit of burn damage.

Nobody ever said it had to be the top tier way, we are saying that there is no point losing consistency and power to summon a monster who is sub par itself and outclassed.

I hate Top Tier Heroes. So boring. But there is a difference between making Heroes as a whole and talking about Thunger Giant as if it was actually good, when all it does is turn your cards in hand into weak copies of Smashing Ground once per turn after you had to summon him.

You still need to run the normal monsters and Rabbit. Might as well just tech Black Corn or even a Neo Spacian Grand Mole in to deal with the problems you can't normally get over. Or play some normal outs like Smashing Ground.

I never said that either, please stop putting words in my mouth. You can like beating them with a card they find "lame and outclassed", nothing wrong with that but that doesn't take away from the fact that Thunder Giant blatantly sucks, which is what the thread was for discussion about. And the simple fact is, when you have the choice, why run a card if there is another card that does it better?

Good for you. I can jump off bridges if I want, doesn't make it a good idea. There isn't a legitimate reason to run the worse card when you have access to both (or in this case, the several worse cards compared to the one better one).

What are you reading? No I probably wouldn't kill you for running it. I'm saying you would be running it without good reason which in itself is illogical and questionable.

Sometime it s that kind of situationnal card you need to win but you don t have in your extra deck
(but i wouldn t run more than one)

That is true but it means you also have to run ways to summon it, which is the major problem. This is why Black Corn outclasses it, because you don't need to dedicate the deck space to it. With Thunder Giant you do (unless for some reason you are already running a couple of Sparkman and Clayman).

But you can't really just tech them in since they have no other purpose. This means you need to build a deck dedicated to it and you can't build a deck around a card that is situational and only good in a few scenarios.

I like how KIKOSHIN has made this into a "flaming thread", also i agree black corn is a much better card because it is easier to summon, it doesn't lose as much advantage, it inflicts burn, it sends to the graveyard rather than destroying so bypassing stuff like Gachi Gachi Gantetsu, Maaestroke, Zenmaines etc. its just better

People still try to argue with Kikoshin? Is not like triying to be intelligent on the F&L forum section?
