Default Angel Feathers Deck - Shining Circular Saw!

Ive been playing this deck heavily and its slowly becoming my favorite Deck Playstyle of any deck from any cardgame Ive played in my 12 year run of playing numerous different TCG (DuelMasters!, Magic the Gathering, YuGiOh, Naruto, Dragon ball Z, Vanguard, Digimon, Pokemon)...

Ive been testing all the different cards available, and this is what Im most pleased with, and what works according to my playstyle and strengths. Let me know in the comments what you think, and any additional help that could be useful in today's Meta of Royal Paladins, Gold Paladins, Narukami, Nova Grapplers and Granblu decks...


Grade 0 Lineup
[[4]] Sunny Smile Angel [Heal] (Starting Vanguard)
[[4]] Critical Hit Angel [Critical]
[[4]] Happy Bell, Nociel [Stand]
[[4]] Bouquet Toss Messenger [Draw]

Grade 1 Lineup
[[4]] Battle Cupid, Nociel
[[4]] Brust Shot, Bethnael
[[4]] Pure Keeper, Requiel
[[2]] Clutch Rifle Angel
[[2]] Lancet Shooter

Grade 2 Lineup
[[4]] Love Machine Gun, Nociel (favorite Card of all time)
[[4]] Gattling Shot, Barbiel
[[2]] Core Memory, Armaros

Grade 3 Lineup
[[4]] Circular Saw, Kiriel
[[3]] The Phoenix, Calamity Flame
[[1]] Mobile Hospital, Feather Palace (I run this card because this deck has the ability to make it happen. After Soul Charge, with a Clutch Rifle...He attacks for 22000, which can hit in the late game after depleting your opponent. He can seal games away when you dont have to guard in the late game. He cannot be underestimated...and he isnt that much worse than just adding a 4th Calamity Flame, so why not.)

The presence of Calamity Flame without Thousand Ray just seems wrong to me.

Its because most of the time, you're only going to be changing cards in your damage once per turn, unless you ride a Kiriel and/or call a Love Machine Gun or Happy Bell Nociel...so when you account for doing it once Its not worth running when Calamity + Bethnael is 20000. I understand with Pegasus it can hit 11000 Vanguards more effectively...but with most Vanguards being only 10000 (Thunderbreak, Blonde Ezel, Garmore, Kiriel, Alfred, Goku, Blockade, Amaterasu, Cocytus, Basskirk)

It puts me alittle of a disadvantage against Dragonic Overlord, Vermillion, and Nova Grapplers...but Angel Feathers have some decent tricks to fight them that Im not too worried about it...Ive also tried running Thousand Ray Pegasus...and I either always throw it in the Damage Zone to get back 10000 Shields, or to get more useful units like Love Machine Guns, Clutch Rifle, or Perfect Guards

4 Battle Cupid seems to much. She's good, but her effect is not so good that you'll want to constantly have her in your hand. Considering you run 4 copies of Kiriel, I'd definitely remove 2 copies of Battle Cupid to replace her with Lightning Charger. Lightning Charger makes your extra Kiriels playable since she can get Kiriel to 21k power when she's in a Rearguard spot. Otherwise, she would be a dead card in your hand if you already had a copy of her in the VG spot.

4 Battle Cupid works great...and for the reasons you mentioned. She can be a dead card...making it easy to select a card to place in Damage Zone when I need to retrieve a 10k Shield, a good booster, or a Perfect Guard. She also isnt terrible as a 6k Booster either in the early game, and doesnt hurt being the Grade 1 Vanguard when your other option would be to sacrifice a Perfect Guard.
