Technically, you should since he can file a complaint back to eBay stating he never got it and they will side with the buyer and issue a refund if the seller got no proof.

When you sell on ebay you can do the express label maker on the site. I allows you get delivery conf, for wai cheaper than going to the post office. As well as it helps speed up the paypal pending time if you are a new seller.
but as a ebay seller its best to put d/c on anything like over 8ish....at least i do when i sell :l

Ion;
In my experience, Id say we have a lower rate of ebay scammers in the UK (not a fact, but I've not come across any...)
Use paypal to pay for & print the label and drop it in to your post office within 24 hours - gives you protection as a seller cause paypal can track the parcel whilst only costing you the price of a 1st class stamp...

plus our record delivery actually put down the destination rather than just a post code. making it harder to scam.

I've been selling stuff on eBay and just putting DC on everything worth 20+ and haven't had any problems yet. I really do need to just man up and buy a printer already though, eventually someone will pull the I didn't receive bs on you for free cards.

Don't use an envelope, get one of those bubble mailers at Walgreens for like 90 cents. You can't put tracking on a regular envelope, but you could send it out that way, sure. My personal method is this.
>Card into sleeve
>Sleeved card into toploader upsidedown
>This prevents it from coming loose while midtransit
>Tape top of toploader with a piece of masking tape
>Insert toploader'd card into envelope or bubble mailer
>If envelope, tape the toploader to the inside of the envelope
>Tape the envelope/mailer shut because I don't trust the adhesive alone
Get tracking put on the card if it's worth a lot. Set a personal threshold for yourself (I usually put tracking on anything $15 or more). If you're feeling extra cautious, you can get insurance on bigger or more expensive items. Mail the cards first class because it's really cheap (like $1 without delivery confirmation) and will get there in like 3-4 business days.

Yes, this has happened to me in the past. Someone basically got a free Shien's Dojo off of me last fall. It wasn't a huge loss, but still annoying as hell, because the guy didn't contact me about it until about 6 weeks after I had mailed the card (who the hell waits 6 weeks for a "missing" item?)

If it's low value and their feedback is okay. I wouldn't put tracking. Basically the same as pojo. Anything over 10-15 in value I put tracking.

Missed this post here. Depends on what "low value" is. If you wanna look extra professional, bubble mailers are good. It looks really cheap when cards come in regular envelopes, but as long as I get cards in the condition described and they're packaged safely, they still get positive feedback. One guy shipped me two Faultrolls in a regular envlope in just sleeves; no toploader. One of them had a messed up corner (they were described as mint) so he got a neutral feedback for horrid packaging.
Just remember, the absolute bare minimum you should do is a sleeve, toploader, envelope, and tape where Appropriate.

When I sell cards on Ebay, I mail everything in a bubble envelope, with toploaders, and delivery confirmation. This is done no matter what card(s) i am selling, my shipping costs are $3.30 every time after factoring in the bubble envelope, postage, and delivery confirmation. If I sell anything over $50 I always include insurance.
Also, what price does everyone think that Cardcar D will settle to? I want 3 copies of it, but I'm not going to spend $80-$90 a piece on them.

Is Chain Disappearance's price going to drop soon?
It's getting a reprint in SD23. Not sure if I should get rid of mine right now.

The deck's coming out in October.
I'd worry about unloading Chain D in August.

Yeah I'm gonna make a new trade thread and take my big stuff off for awhile, I don't want to risk sending $30+ cards since I have low refs. That and people don't like to communicate during the trading process alot do they? I haven't heard from one of my traders and yet I know he received due to D/C.
