If you want to know what the deck will look like once Set 6 hits, then you'll obviously have to use some of the cards in the set, instead of just using the cards from the TD itself.

-1 Sishin
-4 Hayate
+1 Spark Kid Dragoon
+4 Djinn of the Poison Mind

-4 Riki
-1 RaiRai
+3 Wyvern Guard Garudo
+2 Desert Gunner Raien

-4 Bright Jet Dragon
+3 Demonic Dragon War Ogre, Carla
+2 Curse Gun Wyvern

-2 Djinn
+2 Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion

Thanks I did not know if I was clear.

A few things.....
Why Crtis over Stands? I can see why Spark Kid Dragoon can be good but why not Lizard Soldier, Saishin and Raien blocks Intercepts right?

Saishin is pathetic because:
1) It only targets G0 units
2) It requires the boosted unit to actually HIT the VG, which means that your opponent can simply guard against the attack if they want to protect their G0 for whatever reason
3) Frankly, there are very few clans that have G0 rearguards, and off the top of my head the only ones that you would want to retire ASAP are Conroe and Crimson Lion. In short, not enough targets to make it worth while.
4) Because of the above reasons, you probably won't be able to use his skill much, which means you'll be stuck with a 5k rearguard. At least Spark Kid can be used whenever you wanted to.

Raien stops intercepts yes, he's basically there for the big push for Final Turn. Plus, he's a 7k booster, so he's decent.
As for Crits over stands..... personal preference. You could easily keep the stands and swap out the Carbuncles for the Djinns if you wish.

4 Heal
6 Stand
3 Crit
3 Draw(Im iffy on this though)

Thanks for clearing that up about Raien, the spoiler I was looking at had it as the wrong name.

Spark Kid Dragoon
4 Seiobo
4 Katarina
2 Hayate
3 Old Gragon Mage
3 Yellow Gem Carbuncle

4 Red River Dragon
2 Desert Gunner Raien
4 Helena
2 Wyvern Guard Garudo
2 RaiRai

3 Demonic Dragon War Ogre, Carla
2 Curse Gun Wyvern
4 Thunderstorm Dragoon
2 Shieldblade Dragoon

4 Thunder Break Dragon
2 Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion
2 Plasmabite Dragon
How dose this look?

Dudes...Narukami basically is a copy of Kagero. So they share the same strategy: kill your opponents rg line-up.
As for now I see only two types of builds:
First, based on consistency
Second, based on full lockdown.
G0
1xSpark Kid Dragoon
4xDjin of the Poison Mind
4xYellow Gem Carbuncle
4xOld Dragon Mage

G1:
4 Red River Dragoon
3 Helena
4 Wyvern Guard Garudo
2 Rapid Fire Wyvern (It's more practical than RaiRai)

G2:
3 Curse Gun Wyvern
4 Carla
2 Shield-Blade Dragoon
2 Dragonic Deathscuthe

G3:
4 Thunder Break Dragon
2 Plasmabite Dragon
2 Dragonic Kaiser, Vermilion.

This is the decklist that I run.

I personally like Stand Triggers in theory, but Vermillion is much better suited for just running Criticals over stands.

On to the actual deck. 3 Helena is sufficient. Narukami may lack a Conroe(well for grade 1 anyway) but personal play testing shows 3 will get it in your hand when it's needed.

More play testing showed me early on while I was making this deck that Narukami can efficiently get a G3 ran in 3's. Basically, -1 Thunder Break.

I'd add in more Garudo simply because the meta is becoming one where you should run 4 superior guards at all times.

@dima: Lol Narukami being a copy of Kagero. You're funny.

Ok ill try more superior guards, but with my testing with Kagero and Nova Grapplers I founf that I have only needed 2 or 3 but ill give more a shot.

dima u said something about there being builds, based on consistency and a second based on lockdown. could you put some light on thows builds?

I don't think Saishin is bad at all, personally. It's a little bit of anti-meta in a deck that otherwise has none. Granted, you have to go first for it to really be useful, but I'd take whatever I can get to snipe Barcgal, Conroe, and Kyrph. The things are monsters. Spark-Kid does have his merits though.

At the moment I believe Narukami's best bet is more or less: Ride Vermillion, limit break, follow up with 1 or 2 Gunners on the next turn, swing for game since your opponent's defensive resources are extremely limited.

For something a little cheaper, it's possible to build around Indra too.

I think 2 Vermillion is the amount I like. Also I might try 3 Raien; 2 looks to low on paper.

With Indra, it needs othe copys to be effective, but that could be were spark kid would be more effective. Also how would Riot General, Gairas fair?

Gairas will be an interesting option to explore in the future when the clan gets more soul support. At the moment it's not worth the effort.

Thas fair, I like him better then Vortex Dragon. I play tested him yesterday, and I was losing badly I had played him as Vandguard a turn or to before
Two turns after I was brought to 5 dmg vs. 2, then on my turn I used Gairas first effect and then used Spark Kid. Then I called 2 Desert Gunner Raien to RG and used Gairas effect then went swinging.

Long story short I might sell my Kagero because of these guys.

So is Spark Kid Dragoon our best possible vanguard?

Depends. Both Spark Kid and Saishin have their good points and bad points.

Saishin can potentially devastate your opponents moving starter plays or act as a damage deterrent early in the game. Sniping your opponent's starter could seriously slow them down. But there might be times when you can't use his ability because your opponent doesn't have a grade 0 to hit (though it isn't a total loss, because you still have a unit that can boost on the field until you don't need it).

Spark Kid can potentially get you the grade 3 that you need, but there's a good chance that it can whiff and there not be a grade 3 in your next 5 cards (meaning you wasted a counterblast AND lost a unit for nothing).

It all comes down to player preference. If you find yourself having a problem getting grade 3s in your hand or you never miss Spark Kid's effect, then go with Spark Kid. If you want a chance at disrupting your opponents opening plays, than go with Saishin.

I think I will end up using Saishin most of the time, but I feel Spark Kid is better when your using Indra.

So how are we liking this new clan so far?

I don't think Indra is good, his effect kinda sucks. Another grade 3 would be better

I was kinda hoping someone else could do it, because honestly, I still don't know how Narukamis work. I've never made a guide before either.

Haha yeah, if I read the effects of all and look around pojo, I still won't understand the deck.
