This actually isn't that much of a plothole. If you consider the fact that so far, clowns in Yu-Gi-Oh consisted of this and this, then I think it's a pretty safe bet to assume that the clowns Crow met aren't exactly the friendly kind. Now, for a kid that grew up so tragically, he seems too upbeat, so how does that happen?
Simple, he rejects reality and replaces it with happy memories. So what happened to Crow in his fifth birthday party? He was just walking alone in the shady parts of Satellite when a bunch of evil Yu-Gi-Oh clowns came out and sodomized him.
The experience became so traumatizing that Crow rejected reality and replaced it with memories of a normal upbeat birthday party.

Or you know, Crow being the goofball he is, is just throwing a joke that just flew over everyone's head. And just because Crow was an orphan and friendless doesn't mean he didn't celebrate his 5th birthday somehow.

One kid and one or more clowns does not make a happy memory whether or not those clowns are evil Yu-Gi-Oh clowns. Just the thought of that makes me feel uneasy.

Maybe he dueled a bully that was using a clown control deck.

Except that wasn't present in the original, therefore it is a plothole the dub causes.

IIRC, Crow didn't have a Deck back then.

GX: Blair's age was lowered from twelve to eight, an age she definitely didn't look — especially when she hit a growth spurt between appearances. 4Kids tried to cover this up by not bringing the age up on the second go-round. Yeah, that didn't work.
5D's: In the dub Rex Goodwin claim to be the 5th Signer, even before his identity had been revealed in the original. Then in a later episode, they had him say he doesn't know who the 5th Signer is.
This'll be added to the OP.

I never understood that about Blair. Which was the point of the age change?

Probably to draw parallels with Rebecca who was about 13 or so in the original, but was changed to 8 in the dub.
Considering both of them become ship-bait for the main characters, it's kind of creepy.

I did remember that the entirety of the final arc of DM, especially the dub is full of plot holes and nonsense. Its probably why I skimmed through it.

5D's episode 2 said something about Yusei being scared of cockroaches, but Yusei didn't look scared at all.

And then there's Level Eater and Reed Butterfly...
Of course, Butterfly isn't very roach like, but it is a bug.

Joey has a strong Brooklyn accent, even though he doesn't live in Brooklyn and none of his family have Brooklyn accent.
Gozoboru Kaiba plans to force everyone into the virtual world, but does ever mention how he will get everyone in those virtual pods
GX
Satorious has a brainwashing satellete which cause physical damage
The fate of the Egyptian God cards changes from just not being in yugi's deck when it is on display in season one, to being destroyed in season 2.

Wasn't the fate of the god cards sealed after the whole millenium world thing? I can't remember, and honestly I don't want to waste my time looking for ygo manga scans, seriously finding a complete batch is harder than beating a macro rabbit deck with sacksworns.

One big one there I can remember is everyone being "sent to the Shadow Realm" left and right, yet no one comes back once Zorc gets taken out.

Apparently, the payoff for this one is when he's dueling Rudger and facing his Underground Arachnid thing, and he says "Oh, no! Not another insect duel!" or something. And then that fear never gets mentioned again.
I'm sure there's a plot hole somewhere with that amnesia subplot they added for Yusei in episode 13 (after the twins find him passed out from being tazed by Security). Thinking about it, though, I wonder if that's why they cut out a shot in 15 of Yusei and Jack locking stares, so they'd avoid the issue of how he'd still remember him...

AFAIK, the Egyptian Gods were buried underground ('cause of that Earthquake that sends the Items down with them after Yugi and Atem duel), which is why they're nowhere to be found after. Don't remember if they said they were destroyed in the GX Season 2 dub, though (and I remember Shou mentioned they weren't in there when it was on display in S1).

Thanks dude, so destroy=buried in the ground or something. Also, in gx ra was mentioned to have been destroyed and then copied for research purposes...purposes which I've yet to know.

I don't know if it would really be classed as a plot hole, but hey ho. If I recall correctly, when Yugi dueled Arkana, you can see Obelisk and Ra in both of their hands. That being that Obelisk is obviously in Kaiba's possession and Ra wasn't even introduced yet (I think). Plus, you can see Chacu Challhua in Kiryu's hand during his second duel with Yusei.

Shadow Realm=Hell, and close to the end of the series it is mentioned that the dead must not wander off in the world of the living....so yeah, bonz and the others aren't gonna go anywere.

I dunno, it just ended with Yusei thinking of a move/winning and going back to normal.
