Black Luster Soldier is not going anywhere any time soon
Top decks currently in the TCG:
Dino Rabbit
Inzektor
Wind-Up
None of these three decks can use BLS effectivly except some Inzektor builds; which frankly become less effective builds post GAOV.
Tops decks currently in the OCG:
Inzektor
Laval
Heiratic
And again none of these run BLS effectivly, even the Light archtype, Heiratics, since Darks are far less easy to tech than Lights.
Konami will have no reason to hit BLS under the current trend so looks like we're going to have to put up with for at least a year.

You say that we will have to "put up with for at least a year," but you also said that it isn't seeing play in top decks.

Which doesn't mean much when as you pointed there are so many faster, consistent, and sackier combos that aren't really compatible with BLS defining this format.

Shriek has no oganization. I'm not going to judge the OCG off of random local tournaments, i always see random ass things topping. Like light hero beat with only 4 monsters.

That hero beat topped in a tournament with only 5 people in it, of course you shouldnt take those tournaments seriously.

It's really not that broken honestly. A simple Solemn Warning will put it out of the game for good. And even then it isn't really played in a lot of decks.

Outs to broken cards does not make that card any less broken.
Sure the top decks dont use him. I dont care. Card is still OP as ****. Needs to go away. FOREVER. |
