Default Apex Avian Ninja Lockdown Deck

Been trying to perfect this deck over the past Month or so and have found it to be quite consistant, matchs up well againsts the top decks. If i get to go first i normally can set up well and push for gg 2nd turn.

Need help with a side deck for this if you could help me plz...

3 x Mist Valley Falcon
3 x Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo
3 x Upstart Golden Ninja
2 x Thunder King Rai-Oh
2 x Effect Veiler
1 x Maxx "C"
1 x Mist Valley Apex Avian
1 x Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning

3 x Pot of Duality
3 x Divine Wind of Mist Valley
3 x Upstart Goblin
1 x Monster Reborn
1 x Reinforcement of the Army
1 x Dark Hole
1 x Terraforming

3 x Ninjitsu Art of Transformation
3 x Fiendish Chain
2 x Dimensional Prison
2 x Solemn Warning
1 x Solemn Judgment

The idea is to draw into field spell and Ninja Hanzo, summon Apex Avian then have 2 negations with field spell and avian. Then next turn summon Falcon for an almost perfect lock

Bought 2 more Hanzo's on ebay to complete the deck and want to run this in my local, and possibly at regionals. So any ideas are welcome!!

Simorgh lock is much better, imo.

Smorgh Lock is good i agree, but i like the idea of the option of BLS, Veilers etc

And everyone seams to be doing the simorgh lock atm

Additional Comment:

It does struggle against D/W with Grapha returning every turn so i use the dimesional prisons for that very reason. Also should side into Shadow - Imprisioning Mirror for D/W and Inzektors

Additional Comment:

BUMP^^ to the top

At least 1 Mist Valley Thunderbird should be run with Avian, especially since you have divine wind making it searchable.

Thunderbird is 1100 attack, easiely beaten to death by basically anything. Falcon is way better, they most likely can't beat its attack without using an effect to summon a high attack monster to beat it, then i return falcon to negate the summoning effect, divine wind kicks in and summon another falcon

Also pretty sure thunderbird makes Divine wind miss the timing!

If your 11 traps and an apex negating all effects isn't enough for you to protect a 1100 beater (that instantly re-summons itself for avian to negate the next thing your opponent tries to play)... then something is seriously wrong.

And you don't use thunderbird to set off divine wind, you use divine wind to get thunderbird in the first place.

I've tested with and without thunderbird, and it works alot better without it. Thunderbird is good if i run the fast Birdman type of build, but this is more effective against the current meta.

Made some small changes and works even better now...

-3 Upstart Goblin
-1 Upstart Golden Ninja

+2 Swords of Revealing Light (Falcon Abuse)
+1 Vanity's Emptiness (This card is amazing and not used enough imo)
+1 Call of the Haunted

Additional Comment:

I have figured out how to get good consistancy and since these changes below had a few problems against D/W's and Heros. Think it's only because i drew badly against heros though.

-2 Swords of Revealing Light
-2 Thunder King Rai-Oh (was hurting me add to hand via reinforcement/ninja)
-1 Upstart Golden Ninja (3 was creating dead draws)
-2 Solemn Warning (Avain can normally negate instead of paying 2000)
-1 Solemn Judgment ^^

+2 Tragoedia (With clogged hands due to avian this gets me out
of trouble alot, and is normally coming out @
2400-3600 attack, also BLS Fodder AMAZING help)
+3 Upstart Goblin
+1 Magic Planter
+1 Heavy Storm (only side it in when i go second)

Loving the Rage this deck creates, people saying "i scoop" alot!

U need to run forbidden lances and Mirror Force and 3 coth to maximize protection and field prescense, also a teched Dark Simorgh (maybe even a spell fragrance) to be good. I don't like the upstart ninjas... I say use Cyber Dragon and ally birdman just seems like it would hurt the big 3 more... also u need to run at least 1 of that thunderbird... that loop is too good... also maybe safe zones? Worst case falcon it on their monster to destroy it lmao

Hey i am trying the same kind of build, you are giving me more ideas but space is so tight sadly. I already have a 44 cards build but Tragoedia, Swords, mained D. Prisons, mained V. Emptiness, are all things i would want to try.

My deck runs Birdman for some Synchro potential (Thunderlord is amazing, can run over 3K beaters, return cards like Falcon and is mist valley too), also dark for BLS fodder.

Tell me what you think

And to clarify, D. Wind cant miss timing, if thunderbird is bounced for negation, then in a new chain Thunderbird eff to SS itself again and D. Wind eff would form a chain according to SEGOC.

Anyway i dont run it because its too weak but i think its worth a mention if you have traps to protect it.

What do you do when you draw into your only Mist Valley Apex Avian?
