Inherent Summons don't start chains on which you can add Maxx "C" to.
To find out if an effect is an inherent Summon, check the wikia page of the monster, and read what it says for Card Effect Types.
The following means it is an inherent Summon.
"Card Effect Types Summon"
Synchro and Xyz summon are by nature inherent Summons.
All of them (if I'm not missing one) are inherent summon, so maxx C can't be chained to their summon, because they do not start a chain.
You have to anticipate the play of your opponent to hope to draw with maxx C with those monster. But you take the risk to discard maxx C for nothing.
