hmmm I guess I'm the same way sometimes at first I'm really quiet and shy around people because I'm afraid I might say something stupid or inappropriate but lately I am starting to realize that as long as I'm myself I'll be fine...and if I do say something stupid just play it cool

I've had too many to count but I won't post them here because it would be awkward.

One time I was, *cough*, getting it on... Not completely. Just kissing at first, but quite intimately. Anyhow, I hadn't locked the door to my then apartment, and my parents walk in. Now, I was about 22 at this stage, so they weren't all that embarrassed/surprised themselves. To this day I can't understand why they didn't knock first. However next comes the kicker.
My girlfriend and I, in a state of shock, hadn't yet moved very much. Now, for a bit of context. I had recently won a prestigious prize at my university, and had completed and published my thesis. This same day, my former headmaster had wished to congratulate me personally. I'm sure you can guess the rest.
The headmaster and his wife walk in. I have my shirt off, my parents are absolutely green, my girlfriend has no idea what is going on, and the headmaster's eyes practically pop out of his head.
That has got to take the cake in my lifetime. Although there have been others.

yeah, don't think I can top that...that's just..I have no words.....but anyway I will say that one of my most embarrassing moments happened Junior year of high school It was lunchtime and I was walking with food in hand all of a sudden I see the guy I had a crush on, I start to blush and then started walking fast the other way as soon as I turned bumped right into this huge football player guy and spilled sauce all over him...let's just say if my plan was to avoid a scene I did a horrible job at it, there have been others but I won't get all into them

My most horrible day ever was in elementray school. Grade 5 i believe, its the day we calll "that day where I kept getting into trouble with everyone.
From my mom's POV
during the morning my mom told me about how her best friends complained about me because i was being mean to her daughters when she was babby sitting me.
she walks me to the school bus, the driver complains to her that I misbehave and hit the other kids and act very disrespectful,
so my mom's like "dont do that again"
my mom comes to get me after school because she has to drop me to a birthday party; the school police officer goes to my mom and is like "today at recess you son was being so mean to the other kids and was not listening to us"
my mom appologizes and tells me not to do it again.
my mom meets my home room teacher who complains that I was running in the hall so as a result i got a 30 mins detention and my mom had to wait.
my mom took me to the party, there two of my friends go to my mom and tell her about how I was making fun of another girls dad because he was bald
my mom made me apologize
my mom goes to pick me up from the party and notices that I am fighting with the other kids and the birthday kids mom seems fustrated by me.
"she appologizes and tells me not to do it again"
I go back home and my mom meets the cleaning lady whos like "OMG your son so bad, he doesnt let me clean"
by that time my mom was rather annoyed and I was emabrressed by all the complaints.
so than my mom and my go to the park cuz she walks and I play around cuz thats what we always do.
the guard at the park is like "your son doesnt listen to me and he keeps climbing on the park statue and stepping on flowers"
my mom yet again apologizes.
so as you can imagine i got grounded lol and felt all red for a while

6th grade. In the auditorium, everything was completely quiet. My headphones were in, and I was unconsciously singing along to Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of my lungs.
Never. Again.

it is funny you have to never again yourself on this one lol.
At work one time I was belting out Bohemian Rhapsody while working and my co worker came out of the back and had a fit about how hard it is to work with me belting out BR in the first place. So it was pretty funny.

It's just one of those songs. You can't not sing to it.

Goddamn, that's quite a story. I haven't had all that many since elementary school as I've always been a more introverted, reclusive type of guy and I'm too secure to let most things like suspensions or the whatnot bother me (even though I once got kicked out of summer school in 5th grade and the cops were involved), but holy crap that would top coming to a science fair carrying your sister's shopping bags by mistake and then being on the newspaper for your blunder for days in terms of embarrassment. Quite an impact that one incident must've had on your headmaster's opinion of you, though, I must say

I do not mind if my co-workers sing, good stress relief in my opinion, I say let 'em have a little moment to themselves.

Yeah most people are not as nice as you but the world would do a little better to have cooler people in it.

I am the farthest from nice if someone makes an enemy of me, most learn rather quickly that I never forget, and I never forgive.
But singing is just such a pointless thing to get fussy about. The only way I would get irritated by it is if it was being done deliberately to ruffle you, and even then would depend on the frequency and severity of it.

Most of my embarrassing moments are mixed with just enough trauma so that I forget them.

That's pretty convenient. Unfortunately I'm either too toughened up on the inside or too screwed in the head to forget anything once I can remember it an hour later.

I wish I could be traumatized just enough such as to be able to forget the incident. And not just end up badly scarred.

I remember everything that happens to me, pain can be used just like a physical tool. It makes you stronger, if you are strong enough to not be broken by it.

I was about 17-20 at the time....I cannot recall the exact age I was, but I was at the age where all my friends were 'doing it'.
Now, try as hard as I could, I could never get a boy interested in me in that way. I had many friends who were guys, but that's all they ever wanted to be. Whenever I approached a guy for sex, it usually started out as 'I am very flattered....but *insert excuse*'.
So, I started asking all my female friends "wtf is wrong with me? you can get it, why can't I?"
To which their response was "give it time, you just haven't met the right guy yet". I asked my mother about it and her response was the same....this was getting me nowhere...
So, I did the only thing I could do.....I talked to my father about it. Now, a teenage girl asking sex advice from her dad, is possibly the most embarassing thing ever!
I got the answer I needed though.
Ever since I was a child up until this day, I have always been a 'tomboy' and guys see me like 'another guy' more than just a potential root.
Dad told me I needed to do 'feminine things' like wear dresses, mini skirts and low-cut blouses to show off my 'assets' and a girl should never ask the guy first. That was taboo.
He told me that guys were scared and intimidated by me and that I honestly came off as being a lesbian.
I am not gay, by any means, but yes, I am a man trapped inside a woman's body. I don't/can't do anything 'feminine' to save my life. I was also crass, nerdy, clumsy and swore like a sailor...
So, dad had a good talk with mum and I was sent off to a deportment/finishing school for young ladies.....the second most embarassing experience of my life.
I finally got married when I was 23, but the guy I married wasn't interested in sex either, but we had 2 children.
Now, I am back to square 1...I have been celibate for 9 years now. At first, it was through circumstance (I tried and failed). Now, I am celibate through choice.
