Default Symphony Djinn Maelstroke

http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Symphony_Devil_Maestrok

2 Level 4 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; change 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position. If a face-up "Devil" Xyz Monster would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead.

Amazing starter deck card... Seems pretty staple?

There was a thread about this card, I think...
I like the second effect more than the first one.

Both are above average effects which would make it worth running. Both together is just icing... Though they do conflict a bit.

Stats are gud enough to wall things /kill things. And won't consume "field advantage" _(whatever that i9s) if yuo use it correctly.

We have a rank 2, 3 and 4 semi-indestructible monsters.
It seems more reliable than utopia.

Utopia is an actual beater though, I think he's a supplement.

It's also good that there's finally an xyz which can kill Catastor by battle other than tiras.
