2012 top tier decks please?

hi iv been out of the game for quite some time and i was wondering what the newest top tier decks are and would really appreciate it if someone would help me out

What makes a deck tier 1? by ycs tops or if they can beat other tier 1 decks on a consistent basis??

I haven't been looking at 2012 results. And weren't Inzectors just released? I mean, you don't get a tier unless you already have results.

I disagree with this list. I think a properly built DW deck and Karakuri should be at the bottom of T1 or T1.5. T2 should be all the crap that used to be T1/2 from last format because some of them are still topping every YCS.

That's true, that's why I would put DW and Karakuri under T1, but at the very bottom. I think that's also why fighting games adopt the alphabetical tiering system so that they can have more levels and can tier characters as S or B or even A- so they're not all crammed into the A tier.

The only reason I disagree with you is because I don't think decks like GBs and X-Sabers should be T3, which is what they would be under your list. I just find the category insulting for decks that still actually top.

So either you have to put powerhouses like TGU DW and Karakuri in T2 along with the older decks and have this huge gap, or you put them in T1/1.5. I just think the term "tier 2" in the general sense as its known to the majority of YGO players carries certain connotations that just don't fit for TGU DW/Karakuri. Likewise for T3 and the decks that your list would put them in.

You're perfectly entitled to make your tier list however you want. I'm not really arguing with the order of your tiers; for the most part they're accurate, I'm just commenting on the labels since most people wouldn't exactly think "tier 3" when thinking of decks like Chaos, GBs, Legendary Six Samurai, etc.

This is right, the only addition I would make is Chaos under tier 2, and not just the Courtney Waller build.

everyone seems to be ignorant on the fact that six samurai's are going to be tier 1 again with the new support their going to get and I belive anti meta GK can be extremely competitive with maxx c... i run them and theyll screw up most deck the only one im having problemes with is inzektors but with my chaind and a few other cards i have in stored inzektors wont be a prob at all........though to conclude my thoughts i would go

Inzektors (though their way to easy to side against considering they special summon repeatedly dark monsters from the graveyard)
And well see in september how konami wants to put on six sams though their my pick to be honest...
