Well, you could add them. Gaia Drake, the Universal Force is pretty good with Summoner of Illusions, for example. And if you summon a Fusion other than Gaia Drake, you get a pseudo-free Emperor drop.
I do not like Asterisk. Doing too much to get too little. Xyz monsters also give a better use to those Meklord Armies. Replace it with another Machina Gearframe.
With the release of Gear Gigant X in Return of the Duelist, you would not need Monster Reincarnation nor Meklord Fortress (it protects only from a deceptively small amount of Synchros, most of which are not noteworthy). Gear Gigant can also make Fortissimo the Mobile Fortress a live card more often. However, you could leave Meklord Fortress and, instead, add Malefic Stardust Dragon or Malefic Cyber End Dragon.

Whilst I am not fond of Xyz, I may have to as you do bring up some valid points that make poetic sense. Thank you. I must admit as well, asterisk was a pain to get out in a few duels on DN. I'll see how it runs with some of the suggestions you made.
