Because Chaos is too mainstream
Hello!
Sorry for short post, but, is there any other association but LIGHT/DARK Attribute? There is a lot of Chaos monster, etc... I would like to know if there is other combo than Twilight. I know Dark Simorgh and this is the kind of card I would like to see more oftenly. I mean, i wish play a EARTH/FIRE Deck one day or something...

I'm not sure what you're asking..
Do you want another deck?
Every attribute besides light/dark gets boned when it comes to Yu-Gi-Oh! And even harder when you try to connect them.

They tried fire/water and wind/earth YEARS ago, but even then they made the monsters horrible for anyone to use , and thought it was funny to make one of the monsters secret rare......it would be cool if we had monsters who counted as fire and water at the same time like LADD so they'd benefit from spell cards or field spells or even just....for something new, but it's been about 8 years that light and dark and dragons have dominated the game, that's....not gunna stop anytime soon

Well Water is doing okay these days what with all the stuff coming out. But then again that isn't directly water as its more support for Fish, Sea Serpent, and Aqua.

Codarus ninjas, madolche spam. gadgetgiannos. heroes(gonna top soon).
heiratics, wind-ups, six samurai, dark world, lavals, dino stuff, evols, Final Countdown.
gishki hand loops, prophecy. junk doppel synch. inzektor(kind of died down), good stuff, monster mash, flamvells/jurrac, lancer frogs.
there's quite a few decks out or coming out that can do really well at locals. |

There are a few Banish Summon monsters but as has been said, Light/Dark get the big slice of pi.
What they need to do is make a set of monsters that they are Normal summoned by Banishing something from the Graveyard and depending on the something, they get an effect as well. Should also change the name from Normal summons to Regular summons barely anyone summons Normal monsters anymore.
@Sword Stalker: tell me more about this "good stuff" deck, if you would be most kind to do.

I suppose Chaos is automatically and well known powerful deck type. If they released support for them, they would automatically become popular and sell well.
However there should be different combinations.
Your EARTH/FIRE could make Magma style cards.
WATER/EARTH, Mud or Swamp style cards.
WIND/WATER, Storm style cards.
Those are some lame examples, but i think Konami would benefit alot from trying them.

the nationals in for the us had a deck that topped, and was called the good stuff.
it had a bunch of battle pack type cards, and no specific theme centering them together. it just worked well.
i have no decklist for it. |

its a deck i made when ninjas came out.
basically the super transformation card has two keys the deck focuses on:
sending opponent cards to the grave, and sea serpents.
the dinos, and dragons had already been made into ninjas, so sea serpents would be decent. though there weren't any really cool sea serpent big beaters except basically daedelus. daedelus had some issues with using its effects without just having you die next turn. so i looked at the smaller one. Codarus. the effect is actually better since you keep backrow, it doesn't get hit by Starlight Road.
so the theme is about spamming out Codarus effects in a stun variant. right now its decent, but i haven't changed it with the new stuff basically. |
