I resubbed, going to level a Monk and give Blizzard a chance. Maybe they'll not make the same mistakes made in Cataclysm and Wrath.

It was OK, but my perspective of WoW is of someone who has played since classic. I see Burning Crusade as the best expansion in the game. Diversity in raiding options, clear progression-based PvE, competitive PvP, and innovative new mechanics and items. Wrath did bring some nice things, but it began the appeal to the less skilled, more casual players of WoW. Cataclysm attempted to bring back the playstyle of BC, but people complained that the game was too hard and thus Blizzard went back to the old Wrath model of handing out welfare loot.

As a hardcore raider I have to agree with you on that but MOP looks promising.

Yeah, I upgraded my gfx card just for MoP. That + the HD addon = amazingness.

Cata brought on some decent things. I thought the two new BG's were good. And I liked being able to MOG our old gear. And some of the quest lines in Twilight Highlands were quite funny (at least on Alliance).

Something needs to be changed with Archeology to eliminate the total randomness of findibng the same worthless thing 300 times.

But I agree that BC was the best so far.

Well, that helps for the mists artifacts at least.

They already did the huge updates for fragment amounts a while back, and for mop digsites, you have the teleport or randomising digsites...but it doesn't apply to older sites.

I did way too much archaeology before that fragment buff ages ago though...28/32 items. I feel bad for a friend of mine though, over 400 uldum solves..and no Crawling Claw. And they had 200 unique pets and one of the highest pet collectors on the realm.

I got in my first 100 or so solves, with the Qiraqi mount as well.

Sitting at 13400ach points right now, but with no real guild currently and not playing this year... it hasn't moved in so long. Cant wait to get it up again.

Ok so just waiting on the servers to go live, then off to level a panda Monk to 90. Hopefully MoP will end up being a good expansion, unlike the last two.

If I wasnt a raider I would not play but I am a raider with a guild of people some IRL that I know.
