Not going into any detail of course
Faust is my favorite character/shaman in the show.
But if you're asking for who is the blatantly strongest Shaman in the show on his/her own then Hao would of course be the winner
If you mean the card game I don't know, but I'd use Faust lol

I believe Hao kicks all kinds of ass.
As for the card game i would recommend running Jun for a straight beatdown deck.She kicks (paper) ass in the the TCG.

Technically the second strongest shaman (I bet Orange Peel doesn't even remember asking the question up above heh) is Iron Maiden Jeanne. She is supposedly the only shaman capable of standing up to Hao in a fight.
Also, Yoh didn't really beat Hao all on his own, he did it with the help and power of every other shaman on Earth. Nothing wrong with that mind you, Hao is way way too strong to be able to take on ones own.

I just got into this series when it came to TV, but since Fox Box was canceled throughout my area, I couldn't watch it anymore, I just got into the manga a few months ago, so where I got to was when Yoh and them have all surrendered for Hao to become the Shaman King and are currently combating the Patch. So far in my opinion, I like how Horohoro and Joco are progressing. But all in all, my favorite of all shamans is Horohoro.

Zeke (Hao) is by far the strongest only because he's lived 3 times and he has the spirit of fire, however Yoh is very strong as well! And i agree with the Faust fans, he's pretty cool, but creepy to know hes constantly overdosed on morphine which makes me question if he would live realistically for a long time?
